Our motto is, home is a place you are always happy to stay and that's why you'll love it here at Aboriginal Hostel, Budapest. Since 2003 we have been giving travellers not just a place to stay but a home away from home. You'll find everything you need here, from free: internet and a hearty breakfast (including waffles!) to awesome evening activities, and it's all included in the price. No hidden extras.


We are located in downtown Budapest, in the buzzing student district, only a few minutes walk to Blaha Metro Station and main tramlines. We are also within walking distance of many attractions, its 2 minutes to the National Museum and 15 minutes to the river and main tourist street. Just outside our door there is a 24 hour shop, ATM, post office and supermarket.


Our little hostel is based in an apartment building with 20 dorm beds, separate private rooms and apartments are also available. We pride ourselves on being a small, cosy hostel with a friendly, laid back atmosphere where everyone can socialise, relax and have a good time. Each evening we organise an activity to bring everyone together, from Hungarian evenings with food and wine, to movie nights with free popcorn or wine tastings with local snacks to classic Karaoke nights out.
