Liked: the hostel is very close to the center and it's surprised me that the whole big room was prepare for 4 of us. the owner Mr. Csaba is very very nice, he sent me many email to warning me not to exchange money at the airport but he couldn't reach me so he was looking for me on facebook and try to remember my face then by the time I was arrivaled around midnight I didn't see him but he reconized my face and follow me untill we've met. I took the tranfer service from train sattion at midnight it's cost only 10 euro for 4 persons and 25euro to airport. Csaba picked us at the airport but he didn't take us directly to the hostel he drove around the city like a mini city tour for us and recommand many palces to visit and cheap restaurent. my friend asked him for the post office to sent postcard, but by the time we stayed it\s easter so he just service us to send the poscard for us on tuseday which is the first day office open after the easter. we just pay him a little money because he didn't know exactly the price but he offer if the price is more than we gave to him he will just pay for us. "this hostel is very nice to stay and I reccomand for anyone to stay here because it's very valuable and you feel so warm like you're at home, I'm not over expression but I really felt like that :D

Disliked: mhm...may be the stair was too steep but it\s was fun though

Liked: The fact of having not only a private sleeping room but also kitchen and bath with all necessary.

Liked: Absolutely the best way to stay in Budapest. Central, safe, clean. Guests are taken under Csaba's wing from the moment they arrive in the city to the moment they leave. Excellent value for money, I hope to be coming back soon!

Liked: FIrst of all I want to thank Csaba for EVERYTHING. I have traveled all over europe,more than 15 countries (15 different hostels) and I have never had anyone who treats you that great as the way they treat you here. This is a different hostel, because they are apartments. The apartments are in a great location, it couldnt be better! Csaba (the manager) again, was great! he upgraded us to a better flat without paying one cent more! I would definitely recommend this hostel to everyone! how i said i have been over 10+ hostels and i have never felt they treat me better than this one. When you get there he has everything you might need (brochures, maps, etc) and he goes in depth and explains you everything.

Liked: very relaxed place right in the center of the city. the hostel were extremely helpful in pointing us in the right directions with regards to bars, restaurants and things to do in the city.

Disliked: no faults to comment on.

Liked: It was wonderful! The best thing about the hostel was probably the owner who made us feel safe and welcome, who helped and adviced us and who gave us lots of useful information about Budapest. The atmosphere was absolutely great! Thanks, Csaba ;) Our room was awesome, we didn't expect it to be that big and well appointed. Happyflat is really downtown Budapest, so you can WALK to any sight which really influences the quality of a trip. Value for money? More than worth it! It was so good, I would have payed twice as much. Really, we were overwhelmed when we entered the room. I can only recommend this property to all of you!!!

Liked: very friendly owner, close to vaci street, metro and supermatket.very safe, clean, with wlan internet, hot showers, equipped kitchen (easy to prepare almost every meal). the biggest advantage is that it's in the heart of the city. next time we're in budapest, we will surley stay in happy flat.

Liked: I really enjoyed the few days i've spent in Budapest thanks to Happy Hostel :-).I was there with 2 friends of mine and they loved it also .We were really satisfied with the service we received while we were there in Happy Hostel. The room was very cozy and clean,the bathrooms and the kitchen were awesome :-).Csaba ,the manager of the hostel,was very helpful and friendly ,always ready to give us advice and help. I would definately recommend Happy Hostel if you are travelling to Budapest -Hu.I really loveddddddd it :-)

Liked: I loved this hostel! I would definitely recommend it to anyone going to Budapest. The owner, Csaba, was incredibly helpful and friendly! He walked us to a nearby bank and showed us the best places to visit (and to avoid). The room was very clean, extremely large and it had a full service private kitchen and washing machine. Excellent shower, too. The location was perfect, too, easy to walk to all the sights.

Liked: The owner is very very friendly. He gave us a lot of guides of where to get cheap traditional food, places to go and how to go.The location is perfect. it's very near the famous vaci street, bus stop and metro station.The flat is spacious, comprises of two floors. It can easily accommodate 5-7 persons. The walls are nicely painted with different cheerful colours. The decoration s lovely that we feel so warm. Cutleries, plates, pots, and cooking utensils were provided in the kitchen. There were free teas and coffees also. The toilet and shower were very clean, with washing machine to wash the clothes. However, the mirror is a little too high for those who are shorter than 160cm. But full length mirror was provided in the room. It's definitely worth the price!!!
