Liked: Maybe a bit tricky to find the hostel, since it's just a bigger apartment in a large building. Otherwise a nice location, with market next door, a bunch of pubs/restaurants on the same street, and metro station nearby.

Liked: it was great. more like a big share-house than a hostel. close to the river, and only a short tram ride from the centrum.

Liked: It was a good experience to stay at the hostel. The owner of the hotel is very helpful and friendly. Our room was neat and clean. The location of the hostel is excellent.

Liked: I had a great stay at Maxim. The staff is friendly and very helpfull. The location is awesome and I think i drank the best water in this hostel. Their water purifier is great. I can just recomend to everyone.

Liked: Tamas was a great healp. Tha place was nice and chilled out. A good place to meet people. Overall I had a gret stay and will recommend the Maxim Hostel to others.

Liked: excellent, free wifi, have kitchen, can cook own food, easy to find! owner will bring you around to have cheap lunch (~1 to 2 euro)

Liked: I can totally recommend this hostel to you. I was there with 5 of my friends and we had a really gread time. Also Thomas is the best - friendly, helpfull and understanding. When I return to Budapest, I'll stay here again.

Liked: The property was located in a quiet area but that was in the centre of everything. Clean and large - not what I was expecting.

Liked: was relativly clean, especially the shower and toilett. but the hostel wasnt fully booked and there was only one shower/toilett for all. when its full the cleanliness might suffer. also the mattresses were not comfortable

Liked: The hostel guy (Tom) was AWESOME! Nicest guy ever! He made extra food and offered it to us the first night (DELICIOUS). He also gives great advice about public transportation and what places are good to see and go to. Nice & helpful!The place also has kitchen facilities that you can use - great place!
