Liked: The location was wonderful: right next to a tram stop and short walk to a metro station for easy access to airport, all train stations, and all areas of downtown; right next to the Margaret bridge for easy walks to Margaret Island and the Buda side of town; and walking distance from all of the sights of downtown Pest. Close to ATMs, convenience stores, restaurants, bars, and some of the wonderful sights of Budapest like the Parliament building right down the road! The interior of the hostel if very warm and inviting. Rooms were extremely clean; dormitory rooms had hardwood floors, tall ceilings, and minimalistic but inviting furnishings. Nice big lockers inside rooms, and toilets separate from showers to reduce bathroom waiting time. We also appreciated that there was a fridge and small kitchen for cooking simple meals, as well as a great wifi connection! Thanks so much for all of your hospitality, Andrew!

Liked: Great location., a short walk from anything. Amazing owner, Andrew who did everything imaginable to make my stay and others that passed through as easy as possible while I was there. Comfortable beds and cozy rooms make it feel more like a nice apartment.

Disliked: There was nothing to dislike, it felt just like home.

Liked: Central location, easy to find, the most helpful staff of any hostel I've ever been in, clean, modern, free wifi, comfy beds, really nice common areas. If/When I return to Budapest, I will definitely stay here again.

Liked: No bunk beds in the dorm! Staff were really helpful and the place had a cosy feel. Good value for money.

Disliked: It was virtually empty when I stayed there and there wasn't always a staff member around so felt a bit weird being alone in an empty hostel! But I'm sure on the weekends or in summer it would be great. It was a bit far away from some of the main sights but close to the trams so not a huge problem.

Liked: This is the best hostel I have stayed in. There is no doubt about that. Andrew (the manager) was always there to help and he felt more like a family member than a hostel manager. The hostel is in a good location and the layout of the hostel is very nice. Plenty of bathrooms and showers and the staff can always get you anything you need or point you in the right direction. Can't wait to go again!

Liked: Owner Andrew is really helpful & friendly, good location. Free Internet & wifi Awesome!!

Disliked: would have been good to have a private toilet in the private double room but some things can't be helped due to building design. Still really good stay and not too much of an issue. Kitchen needs a toaster though.

Liked: I've stayed in five different hostels in Budapest over the last few years while passing through on business trips. Home Plus is without doubt the friendliest, most helpful, easy going, comfortable and spacious hostel i've had the pleaseure of staying in. I would strongly recommended it as a place to spend a few days in the city.

Liked: Home Plus Hostel was great! Huge lockers, a computer for use, and Andrew is so SO enthusiastic about making your stay in Budapest the best! He has so many suggestions of places to go, and things to eat, and he definitely goes out of his way to make you happy! One of the things he recommends is the caving in Budapest... go, it's great!

Liked: We had a very good stay at the Home Plus Hostel. It is a cozy, friendly place with an international atmosphere and Andrew is really helpful. Would definitely recommend it.

Disliked: We missed a little privacy, but who is up for meeting a lot of different people is at the right place here.

Liked: Very very nice staff! You really feel like your at a home away from home. They are all good people at this hostel and they are always ready to help you out/answer any questions you have and they sit you down and tell you about the best places to see in Budapest.
