Liked: Andrew was a wonderful man...extremely helpful and kind! His wife was wonderful too! The beds were some of the most comfortable I have ever slept in (for hostel standards). Was able to get a great nights sleep every night, clean bathrooms with good water pressure, and good laundry facilities. The location was very central to a lot of fun stuff and great places to see. It's very nice coming into a hostel where the owners are so incredibly friendly, helpful, and caring(kind of like a family member that only wants the best for you). This is not a party hostel however so understand that...but if you value a quiet, clean and homey hostel feel like I do, I highly recommend this place! A

Liked: Great hostel in good location. The owners were very helpful and provided us with a substantial amount of local information to ensure we made the most out of Budapest. Rooms were nicely decorated and free internet! - Highly recommended!

Liked: Everything was good, staff were very friendly ( i would have rated 100%) with the exception of the old man. It was supposed to be a 24hrs reception, so we came back around 2 plus am and wanted to request for a city map. The reception lights were off and the old man (staff) was actually in the tv area watching tv. So when I knocked on the door to request for the map. This was his reply in an irritated tone "What at this time, why dont you guys go and sleep. No, tomorrow morning" And he closed the door in my face.

Liked: So this place is AMAZING!!! i love the decore, the location and the owners/operators!! I've never stayed at a place that had such friendly staff offering to help every moment! Andrew and his wife are such wonderful people I never wanted to leave! I'll be back in Budapest just to see them!

Liked: I liked the friendly staff, the free internet, the use of a fridge/freezer. There are good public transport links although you can walk nearly anywhere from the hostel.

Liked: The hosts were fantastic! They went out of their way to give you advice on things to do and how to get to places you wanted. It was really tidy and the bedrooms and shower were great. There wasn't any coffee at the time and the kitchen was mediocre but who cares when there is so many great places around the corner to eat! It was also very easy to get to from the main station and hard to get lost from as it was situated right near the river next to the Margit Bridge. I would definitely stay here again.

Liked: It really did feel like home with good kitchen, table, spacious rooms etc. The only problem was that we found it a bit too like home as it was very quiet and didnt have a very lively atmosphere, but if you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place for you.

Liked: excellent place. I would definitely recommend it to other travellers! great location, rooms are big, clean. bathrooms too. there's a little kitchen and lounge to chill. it's more a chilling place than a party one, but still I got to meet some great people, AND get some rest! hehe. great hostel.

Liked: great place, very friendly and helpful staff who gives a free guide talk on budapest the moment i reached, and the owners orientated me around the hostel personally. will be even better with a faster computer and if the room doors doesn't bang when they are closed. but overall a really cosy and homely envt, clean, convenient, safe and value for money. thanks for the lovely stay!

Liked: Staff were great....especially Andrew. It is a good hostel in an excellent location, jus difficult to meet people if you are travelling alone because it's so small, perfect hostel if you are travelling in a group though.
