Liked: Andrew, the owner is absolutely brilliant! He is incredibly knowledgable about the city and very very sweet. I instantly felt at home and as a female traveller travelling by herself, I have never been more safe. The hostel is clean and comfortable, I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest!!!

Liked: Andrew the manager and owner is a credit to the Hungarian people as he went well out of his way to make my stay as good as possible. He was very informative about the sights to see in Budapest and there seemed little he did not know. Excellent quality hostel with amazing staff.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: This place is awesome and Andrew is a great host, everything is super clean, centric, it has an amazing atmosphere, definitely I would recommend it to all the travellers.Thanx a lit for the coffee, the tea and the great advices on what to do and where to go.

Liked: This is one of the best hostels I've stayed at. The owner, Andrew, is fantastic and gave us all of the in's and out's of the best places to go to, see, and eat in the city. Situated right on the river near Parlaiment, you are in an amazing part of town both to see the beautiful skyline / Buda, but also you are in a super fun part of the town with many restaurants and bars. The hostel is clean, well-kept, has nice rooms (no bunks) and hot showers. When you come, talk to Andrew and he'll give you all the info you might need, and then some. Definitely check this place out!

Liked: Great location. Plenty of room. Very comfortable living conditions.

Liked: The location, the host, Andrew and his staff, the atmostphere - it is very cosy and homely (an accurate reflection of its name Home Plus), informal and clean. The showers stayed warm and Andrew makes a fine host with his knowledge of Budapest and the cultural scene. Highly recommend a stay at this hostel.

Disliked: There is really nothing I dislike about this property.

Liked: - I loved the mix of people that stayed here. I met people from all corners of the world, who came to Budapest for a variety of reasons: music, marathon, sight seeing. Conversation with roommates was never dull.- The owner researched classical music concerts happening in the city during my stay and even brought me along to a show at a gorgeous concert hall that I would have never seen or heard about through an ordinary tourist bureau. Definite highlight of my stay. - The beds were ridiculously comfy. I was tempted to nap every day. - The complimentary coffee actually tastes good, not the burn a hole in your stomach kind. There's also a selection of teas and coco - sweet before bed.

Liked: What a lovely hostel! Comfy beds, spacious rooms, lockers, lovely hot showers, a funky and welcoming atmosphere and absolutely generous hearted staff! I loved it here and would highly recommend it. It's not far from the centre - a short tram ride or about a 10-15 min walk. Stay here!

Liked: Andrew, the owner is incredibly helpful. He will tell you anything you need to know about the city. Location is great, easy to get to from the train station. Thermal spas are close, as is Parliament.

Disliked: The room was a little dark, but no big deal.

Liked: It was very close to a lot of main attractions, the staff were able to give alot of advice about places to eat and drink within budget and they could tell you the best places to visit.

Liked: Andrew the owner gives you very valuable hints. This helped us a lot in finding the best places to visit and eat and safe a lot of money. The places he recommended are also the places where the hungarian people go and not this tourist rip off places. The stay was just perfect.

Liked: Great owner and staff. It's an intimate experience and you'll get to know the other people staying at the hostel, as it is more like staying at someone's house than I german-style institution. A very nice stay.
