Liked: I liked the location. It's nice and close to everything which was nice.

Disliked: I thought the showers coudl have been cleaner and I also think that things were a bit too disorganized with the check in and you get to pay whenever you want to. I think there needs to be a bit more structure. That being said, the owner is very nice and makes up for all the things that fall short in his hostel. I liked him a lot.

Liked: Andrew was the perfect host. Took tons of time to make us feel at home and make sure we had everything I needed. I thought the other reviews on here were just kidding til I actually got there; he's the real deal!

Disliked: My only complaint was that the hostel wasn't marked well from the street, otherwise it was exactly what I like in a hostel: friendly, unique, fun.

Liked: Given the choice between this hostel and a three star hotel for the same price, I would pick this place everyday and twice on Sundays. It is so well run by nice people and is easily the best hostel I've stayed in so far in my three months. And that's by a pretty wide margin. All facilities are readily available and the staff goes out of they're way to make sure you love their city as much as they do. On my first day, Andrew took me to a wonderful little pastry place and then pointed out every attraction, eatery, and nightlife spot that was of interest to a traveler. It was the first time that a guide book has been wholly unnecessary. Stay here.

Liked: Not only is very well located, and is a cozy property; but Andrew is there. He will make your stay in the city the best possible and you will get the kind of tips you wouldn't find anywhere else. I hardly ever encountered someone so nice and friendly. If I'm ever to go back, I'm going back there.

Liked: I have been traveling around Hostels for over a month. This is the best one I have found. There is no close second. The manager Andrew is an amazing person with tons of great tips for seeing this city. Do yourself a favor and stay here.

Disliked: Nothing. I wish my rail pass was 2 months instead of one, that way I could stay at this hostel longer than 3 nights.

Liked: The location is very good, with a bus and a tram right next to it. Furthermore, the hostel staff is very helpful. Timea was very kind and super helpful! Thanks for the great stay, and if anyone is looking for a place, you cannot get much better then this hostel.

Liked: The Owner was really friendly and treated all of us like his sons and daughters. He makes the effort to constantly engage us, with his witty humour and his own life experiences. The facilities were clean and the location was great! Its right beside the river, great for photo taking and walking between Buda and Pest. Really Great Hostel, definitely recommend it to anyone who is going Budapest :)

Liked: Best hostel ever!! Andrew, the owner is the best, shows you and tells you everything you need to know about Budapest! Really enjoyed my stay felt like I was really in a home environment! Would highly recommend!! :D

Liked: We stayed in a 5 bed room which was very spacious, clean and well laid out, no bunkbeds.Single beds were large and very comfortable. Kitchen & dining facilities were more than adequate and the common room had comfy sofas,TV & internet. Shower & toilets were impeccable.Andrew was very welcoming, even made us a pot of tea on arrival and went through the "must see" items on our trip. Also organised Spa tickets for us and gave us directions to the local soccer match.Overall experience was excellent, would stay there again on a Budapest trip, location within 3 minute walk of train station, the Danube is one block away and the impressive Parliament building a mere stone's throw away.

Disliked: No complaints about the hostel, although the trams appeared to run 24x7 which made it a little noisy overnight but that would be the case for any accommodation I feel.

Liked: Andrew, the owner, is five stars! We can easily understand that he really enjoys to help the travellers to make the most of their at the hostel and Budapest (food, clubs, nice places to visit). This said. plus a very nice decoration, cozy atmosphere, and a very good location makes of this hostel a perfect one. Don't hesitate to try it out!
