Liked: Very centrally located. The staff person was very helpful. Though there was no one to receive us on 19th night, I hold no grudge as all flights were being cancelled all sides. And they had a number of cancellations - and when we did not turn up at the mentioned time, I guess they thought we had cancelled. All in all, it is a very cosy place and again very centrally located. Excellent in fact. Unfortunately, due to flight cancellations, we were the only guests till the last night of our stay. But I must mention that the receptionist was A GREAT HELP.

Liked: We stayed in the private double, and it was very good - secure lockable room with double bed and tv. Showers were good, free internet was handy as was the printer. Well equipped kitchen was also useful (fridge, freezer, microwave, hob, but no oven), and the welcome drink of Hungarian spirits went down very nicely!Location is pretty good - ought to be relatively easy to find from the train station but we managed to completely lose our bearings after coming out of the subway

Liked: We had a whole appartment for ourselves, including our own bathroom and kitchen. It felt more like "couchsurfing" than a hostel since we saw the staff only once at the arrival. The room was good, big bed plus a couch that could be used as an extra bed. The only negative was the noise from the street below. Budapest is a loud city per se and the street in front of the appartment fit right in! But with closed windows it was OK.

Liked: I would totally recommend this hostel!! I loved it! You have the feeling of being at home as it is actually a big flat and very cosy as well. The girl who received us (I don't remember her name but she was from Rumania) was extremely kind and very helpfull all the time. Great location, in the jewish quartier and next to the big sinagogue. If I come back I will be stay there again!
