Liked: Fantastic!!! ive never enjoyed a hostel so much. the rooms were large, clean & had kitchens, the staff were excellent and extreamly helpfull & alot of fun, was a GREAT place to meet people and in an exellent location. (i booked for 3 & stayed 8)

Liked: It was so fun! great court yard area for pre drinks and music. Sweet music was playing all the time. tidy. big bathrooms. kitchen in the rooms! apartment style rather than doggy dorms.

Disliked: Felt a little disorganized, seemed that were a few mistakes eg moving people out of a room while they were out; changing the rooms around constantly..

Liked: Staff very friendly, take groupes out every night. Very nice atmosphere, movie room, kitchen and big rooms.

Disliked: bunks too low. Always hitting head

Liked: Everything about this hostel was great. All the people who worked in reception had all the answers and guidance needed. More importantly, they knew how to let everyone have a good time. A great place and a great location.

Disliked: having an oven in the room but not being able to use it seemed odd, but there were cooking facilities in the reception area so it was fine.

Liked: Only location and great internet wi fi conection.

Disliked: They changed our room from the first to the second night without any notice in advance. They woke us up in the same night at 8h30 to do it, claiming they had a "government check up". Then it was a general cleaning... But only some rooms needed to be cleaned... Anyway, there were many things left to explain and we were tired, needing to sleep, and we had to stay out of our rooms until 3 pm that day and we only knew that morning. And staff wasn't friendly doing this... They didn't let us sleep in the morning, since 8:30 am and we could only sleeo later. There was no privacy in our dorm because staff were always comng in and many times left the door unlocked and some times wide open. There was no hot water in our room at night and we had to go to other rooms (with other people) to take a shower.

Liked: Superb location, nice communal area to meet people for drinks etc, free computers, kitchen facilities, helpful staff! Also, make sure you go to Szimpla on a night out in Budapest!

Liked: location is a walking distance to do things during the day, but even better to go out at night!!! really close to the main train station, which helps a lot!!!!the free coffee is excellent to integrate people in the common area, and to know better the staff also....

Liked: The mood of the hostel encouraged guests to mingle and chat. They were really apologetic when a power failure meant we had to move rooms.

Disliked: The bathroom felt a little grimy but not too bad

Liked: Stayed here with a group of 11 guys. Rooms were a good size, clean and had our own kitchen which was a bonus. Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful offering advice on where to go, what to see and book cheap taxis. Location was excellent with bars, clubs, restuaurants and shops with 10min walk and all 5min form the river! Hostel is quite relaxed and a good place to meet others before heading out in the evening. All in all definitely good value for money.

Disliked: Not really a dislike but had to pay for our stay upfront and in cash. Cards not accepted but their are cash machines within 5min walk. Not a problem for individuals but might be awkward for large groups.

Liked: Location was very convinient. Premises were okay. Furniture was a bit old / shabby. Bathrooms clean. Hang out area downstairs.

Disliked: It pretty smelled like a pub :)

Liked: Excellent location and extremely helpful and insightful staff who were keen to make us see the most of the city and experience the best bits!

Disliked: No kettle, the shower was a bit grotty and not enough hot water when showering...small things really - decide for yourself!

Liked: Very near to the subway station which is 2 stops from Keletki train station. Good food open late within walking distance, and 24 hour alcohol shop as well. Good place to meet people. Helpful staff.

Disliked: I only marked down the cleanliness a little because there was a big mold patch on the bathroom ceiling. The room had a kitchenette, but the guys who were there when I arrived said they tried to use it and it just leaked gas. The main kitchen is a little sparse (salt but no pepper, etc.) There's free internet, but the laptops they have are slow.

Liked: great hostel for meeting people.its an ideal location for going out as it conveniently located next to the retro bars and popular clubs of the jewish quarter, staff even when busy took the time to give people advice about what to do and where to go.free tea and proper coffee available.free internet very useful.only downside for me was that the rooms were pretty hot in the mornings but i would definately give it a 9/10.favourite hostel so far.

Liked: There was a really wonderfully friendly atmosphere in this hostel. Enough space to socialize and spacious dorms. The staff were helpful and the location meant that you could walk everywhere in town. One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in and I'd definitely go back.

Disliked: We had a bit of a shower flooding problem because it dripped of the curtain but it was hardly an issue.

Liked: nice communal areas, good for meeting people. kitchen was good and internet plus wifi is fast.

Disliked: the bathrooms are not great and the kitchen, whilst still OK, is nothing like the picture provided, it is a lot older.

Liked: A good place to meet people before a night out and nice when you can drink your own beer in the hostels communal areas. Plenty of space in the dorm with its own kitchen.

Disliked: Dorm and kitchen could be kept a bit cleaner.
