Liked: the staff was great. the hostel was like staying at a friend's place in the city. they have free internet and even provided a free dinner the first night i arrived. no question i would stay here again if i make it back to budapest.

Liked: Like the name suggests, Home made hostel is truely a homey expereince. Probably the most relaxed in a hostel I have felt so far, Just being able to wander around, cook up a curry and curl up on the couch with free internet was invaluable. So conducive to meeting gorgeous people, the staff were also fantastic.Its like staying in a really nice sharehouse. Decor, and character of the place was also great. I would definatly send my friends here.

Liked: A perfect hostel! The staff were amazing and even made tasty Hungarian food for everyone during our stay. A very laid back atmosphere and pretty things to look at in every room. I just wish I could have stayed longer!

Liked: The owners and the staff are always helpful and friendly. The hostel is also flexible in order to accomodate the travellers' special needs. Very nice decoration at the entrance, kitchen and in the rooms. It is a great place to stay with and it is the best among the 5 I stayed in my trip. I would definitely recommend this to my friends.

Liked: All the workers are in the same mood, it's like a house in a wonderful building. the workers become my friends, i fall in love about this youth hostel, and the workers become my friend in few time. it's a place where anybody feel good (if your are not a fucking made human beings), just stay here, and enjoy the spirit of the place and persons work here. I stay 4 days and i just wait for the moment where i can come back in this place. If you want to sleep en Budapest, stay here. it's in the center, close to a shop, metro, credit bank to take cash... what you want more than this ?!Je suis d'un village à coté de Grenoble, je voyage souvent, et c'est la meilleur auberge ou je suis allée. c'était un merveilleux moment, j'ai qu'une envie, c'est d'y retourner parce que j'aime vraiment cette endroit chaleureux, et en plus je me suis fait des mais parmi les gens qui travail dans cette hotel.voilà, je suis sincère, trust in me, it's impossible to don"t like these feeling you have when you are here.Renaud (Grenoble)

Liked: With only 20 beds, this is as boutique hostel and has more charm (though less facilities) than some of the bigger franchise hostels.

Liked: I was originally only going to stay 3 nights but I stayed for a week ... Ferenc and all the staff are just amazing ... It was perfect for me to just chil after a year of travelling!!!! It was just perfect -:)

Liked: Just the best hostel I have stayed at in more than a year of travelling .. It is great if you just want to chill out and meet people ... It isnt a party hostel but there is plenty of parties in Budapest!! The staff are just 10/10 !!! Cant wait to get back there and have some more goulash and wine guys -:)
