Liked: For me, this was the perfect hostel and probably the best of the 14 I stayed at. Great staff, charming place, fantastic full-service kitchen, and a laid back atmosphere. If you´re looking for a crazy party hostel this isn´t for you. But if you want a relaxed environment to just talk with other guests and hostel employees you´ll love Home Made. I wouldn´t think about staying anywhere else if I went back to Budapest.

Liked: Perfect location, really cosy and awesome place, and really helpfull staff : we couldn't stay 2 nights more because the hostel was full, so they book an another one for us (but HomeMade Hostel was better..) !

Liked: This hostel is in a wonderful building and I found it surprisingly quiet, considering the location to be bustling during the day. I had a bit of a tough time finding it (but it would have been easier if I read the directions adequately). The staff was very helpful and spoke english well. The facilities were unconventional in an adorable kind of way, it reminded me of a tree house!!

Liked: It was just.... HUUUUUUUUUUUUGE!!! I will definitely come back in this hostel when I will go in budapest again. You feel just like at home... Perfect place, perfect people!!!

Liked: Absolutely everything about this hostel was excellent, which is rarely the case at hostels that I've stayed in. I would highly recommend anyone who goes to Budapest to stay here.

Liked: Great facilities, free inet plenty of bathrooms etc....Very loud people waking up at around 7 in the morning... and not very sociable place to meet people. Not the hostels fault really.

Liked: it really described itself honestly, and it had so much character. it is small, so if you want to party all night this is not the place, but everone was so friendly. plus, they cooked dinner for everyone on wednesday for free, and it was delicious. great location as well!

Liked: This was an excellent hostel. The staff were really friendly and often more knowledgeable about Budapest than our guide books! Amenities were good (internet, kitchen etc) and it is a really unique place. The location is great for exploring Budapest as it is near a metro.

Liked: I liked the location of this hostel, it was easy to get to and right in the centre of everything. The hostel had a great atmosphere and I felt very at home.

Liked: Everything, this hostel is a real example what a hostel should really be. I recommend it to everyone. It is a little more expensive than other hostels in the city, but it is definetly worth it.

Liked: It's my second time there and I found it even better than the first time. Would repeat again. Just one thing about the cooking on tuesdays, I didn't see any cooking. Anyway it's still the best hostel to me.
