The place is so cool! I will recommend it to all my friends. The location is perfect, it has everything you may need.

It has a very casual atmosphere, more like lodging at someone's house rather than taking up residence in a hostel. It's an attractive looking place and we appreciated the free internet. We were, however, presented with some difficulty in finding the place. I'd recommend getting some fairly detailed directions before you arrive in Budapest.

Basically it was an alround good place for a couple to stay. My only reservation would be one member of staff and her friends but that was just a weird scenario to be involved in. apart from that the general ambience and helpfulness of the staff was good.

The private rooms were large and pleasently decorated, and were clean. Free internet was radical! So was the dart board. The only complaint was we needed a drying dish cloth... but that can be overlooked because our time spent there was serene.

The location was perfect with all sites within easy walking distance, as well as other services such as great cafes and supermarket etc. The facilities and services were very comfortable, clean, and safe. The atmosphere was welcoming and warm and the staff very accommodating. I highly recommend the Mandragora Doubles as a place to stay in Budapest, I enjoyed my time there immensely.

It has been recently renovated and decorated to style I liked very much and it was good to be in an old apartment within Budapeast instead of a faceless modern hotel chain. It had individuality and character. If I was staying longer I would probably look for somewhere cheaper but for a citybreak of three or four nights I'd stay again.

I liked the atmosphere and the fact that it had free internet. The rooms were peacefully decorated. It had a wonderful and spacious kitchen as well. It also had a very interesting chair-hammock which we used alot. Good clean beds! It was diffucult to locate, it is well hidden in a backyard.
