the location of the hostel is great, Refulop is small and out of season quiet but i still really enjoyed my stay here. The staff are so helpful in helping you find ways to move on to your next destination, and they even cooked from us, for very cheap, one of the nights we were there.

Awesome location, right next to the train station, the lake itself and the masterful Gombas Pizzeria. The staff are extremely helpful. The day we left we were struggling to find a way of getting across the lake early enough in the morning to catch the only train to LjubLjana, so the guy telephoned his friend and arranged to take all 9 of us across the lake in his private boat. That ride in itself has been a highlight of our trip!!!! They will try and help you as best as they can, all the time. Revfulop is a brillant place to chill out and relax. Everyone who visits it are looking to meet new people, stay up chatting and go on long cycles though Hungarian countryside etc! If you are looking for a nightclubbing atmosphere, Revfulop isnt for you as there is only one in the entire town. I will be staying here again, I can assure you!

The hostel has really friendly and helpful staff who do their best to make your trip enjoyable. The bar is normally lively with a mix of hostel users and local people and often their is food cooked over the wood fire on an evening. We stayed in a private room in a new building in the garden of the hostel which was nice and quiet.

The hostel itself is friendly and clean, although the town is very quiet. Great locations for swimming and sunbathing, but again very quiet.

Owner was very helpful for arranging transportation to the airport and for explaining the options for entertainment in the area (few though they are)

Make sure you do the bike ride :-)
It is expensive(ish) but well worth it!

The owners of the Hostel were extremely friendly and helpful. They made sure I had everything I needed and were very informative about the area and what it had to offer. I had a flight to get to the next day and the owner helped to make arrangements for me to make the flight on time. Would be a fantastic place in the summer, just a bit too early in April. But much quieter in the early spring than the summer.

I liked the spacious rooms and the fact that the lights went on in the corridor by themselves. Also staff were quite nice and had great taste in music. Nice place to party and relax and everything was nearby.

The proximity to the beach, shops and eating places. It was a great party atmosphere, however it you are tired and want to sleep this probably isnt the hostel for you.

Close to train station. Regular hostel cooked meals. Good bar. And most importantly Zolly - the hostel manager. Friendly and helpful.

The staff are extremely helpful - as soon as I got there the guy who runs the place came over and told me everything there was to do there and he even lent me his raincoat - I ended up getting a bike for the day because Revfulop is really small and there is only so much to see but all the little towns away from the river are a close bikeride away with lots to see - seas of stone, the needle, a couple ranches where you can go horseback riding. All in all a really beautiful place.
