Liked: The location is great -you can see it from the train station. And the staff is so amazingly friendly. They helped me arrange my next travel plans which was such a help because no one speaks English in the train stations. The hostel itself is very well set up as a great summer vacation place.

Disliked: There were no lockers in the rooms

Liked: Nice bar are downstairs, with a garden, barbecue, ping pong table and even fussball table. Try their home made bean-goulash soup - it is delicious! And the guy at the reception desk was one of the nicest and friendliest host I met:)

Liked: The staff was awesome -very friendly and helpful. I arrived during the dead season but still had a good time because the people were so nice. The staff was able to speak English and made my stay worthwhile. I will actually miss this place!

Disliked: I arrived during the dead season so I was not able to do some of the things I wanted like rent a moped or a boat...

Liked: This hostel was nice, it had table tennis and fussball. we also liked that there was a bar at the hostel. it had a nice garden and was only a couple minutes from the beach. the staff were super nice

Disliked: Unfortunately there were no safes in the room, also the key system was kind of odd; upon leaving the room you had to drop off the key at the front desk. it was a bit annoying because the three of us in the room were all travelling together

Liked: Brilliant atmosphere. Great staff. The best bit was the food. Cooked in a big cauldron and served with bread it was delicious!

Disliked: A bit noisy and hot but we were there in the hight of summer.

Liked: Great location just down the road from the train station, supermarket and beach. Also, their home cooked dinner (typical hungarian food) was amazing and very cheap! Would definitely recommend it!

Liked: The bar area downstairs was fantastic and the staff were really helpful!

Disliked: It was quite difficult to have a shower in private and to put your stuff anywhere without it getting wet. Plus the toilets in the bathroom were so small I nearly couldn't sit down!

Liked: the staff was extremely friendly!:) great music!!! and good food in the evening. the location is perfect for sunbathing vacation as well as bikeriding

Disliked: wasn't very clean, especially bathrooms, but the sheets were clean. our room was very small - definitly too small!

Liked: I loved the environment of the hostel, the music, the friendly staff (they even put salsa and latino music so we felt at home), the location and the typical food they served every night. Just the perfect hostel.

Liked: The music that was being played all the time, the areas were just lovely, I loved the design of the place and it was so exciting to have a backyard with beautiful lush grass. The features such as the wood decking, the bird sculpture and the metal drain pipes were really cool too. The staff were so incredibly lovely and helpful. I felt as though I had known them for years! Because we were there when it was a bit more quiet one of the staff members took us in his car to a local market. It was an amazing hungarian experience and I loved the hungarian countryside and Hullum hostel was the best base place.

Disliked: The showers weren't that nice, there were loads of bugs that could get into the rooms, there were no curtains on the windows. But apart from that, everything was pretty good.

Liked: Staff !:D Facillities !:D near to the beach , near to shop, near to post, near to chasmachine, near to the train station .... and is evrything was good ! it was one of best place in the our trip.

Disliked: Another people in this hostel. Staff is very nice, but people who stay there not soo much.

Liked: Very close to station and lake; excellent all you can eat dinner of home cooked local food for about £3. We got upgraded to a much smaller dorm.

Liked: Excellent hostel, this was a great find. They do an "all you can eat" meal every night, where traditional hungarian food is cooked and its cheap. Staff are amazingly friendly and helpful.
