Liked: The owner was lovely, so very helpful and friendly. Loved the retro styling.

Disliked: Not a huge fan of the shower - unintentionally spraying water everywhere!!!!

Liked: Krisztina is great fun and a very helpful host. Makes you feel right at home! The hostel is small so it feels like you're living in a house rather than a big busy hostel which is nice. It's close to a supermarket and a short walk to the lake/train station

Liked: Krisztina (and Danny) were wonderful host's and could not have made us more welcome. Full of energy and ideas they really helped us make additional arrangments for trips we hadn't thought of from this beautiful part of hungary. Nothing was too much trouble for Krisztina, and everything she did was aimed at making us comfortable and happy.Finding this property was easy and quick

Liked: Wow, we had such a great stay there! Krisztina is doing such an amazing job running her hostel. She is helpful, friendly, patient (we asked her probably a million questions and she never got annoyed!), and you can tell that she really cares that you have a nice time there. We stayed in a private room which was nice and clean. The bathrooms were also always clean, and the complimentary breakfast was much appreciated. It was easy to meet other travelers in the nice common rooms. It was nice and quiet there as well, so if you're planning on actually sleeping at night then you won't be disturbed :) The location was just a 10 minute walk to the beach, train station, and city center. It was only 3 minutes from lots of shops and restaurants. I would be really happy to come back again!

Disliked: I actually do not have a single bad thing to say about this place!

Liked: A very friendly hostel and Kristina, who the run the hostel was very keen to help and made it feel like a home from home. Great location really near the lake and a selction of supermarkets. Was very easy to find from the directions. Free breakfast and access to coffee all day was excellent.

Liked: Krisztina was the best host I have had so far in Europe. So friendly, helpful and fun to hang out with. She even organised a masseus to come in for a small price!! The place is a short walk to the lake, and great for meeting people. I will be there next year. Definitely recommend

Liked: We have never met a more helpful and friendly host. Krisztina is the best hostel manager you will ever meet! She made our stay very pleasant and stressful.

Liked: Lovely staff, brilliant location - perfect for a chilled break at Balaton. Did meet a couple of nice people but many liked to keep themselves to themselves. However, was a fairly rowdy party on the Saturday night!

Liked: Very quiet when I stayed in mid June. It is more like renting a private room in a house-share than a conventional hostel.Nice comfortable room and beds, breakfast very nice. All in all, excellent value for money - just note that the area can be very quiet and tranquil apart from a little traffic noise.
