Liked: For Hong Kong standards it is quite cheap, and compared to my previous experiences with chungqing mansions hostels, this one is by far the best.

Liked: The room itself was very clean and warm, and they gave clean towels almost every day. The bathroom was also clean, but it is a bit older, and more typical of what I found in older buildings in Asia. The shower is the whole room, so everything gets wet. Bring shower shoes. The staff were very friendly, and if you needed anything it was no problem to ask. And they even offered to share their dinner one night!

Disliked: This hostel was managed with multiple hostels at the same property, which made checking in a bit difficult, since that was on a different floor. They had no trash cans available for the first half of my stay. So I ended up using the trash in the stairwell, until they finally put one in the hall. There are countless people trying to sell you something or offer you another room on the main floor of the building.

Liked: i pay for Germany hostel but i got Paris Geusthouse so room picture totally different but i this there are the same owner Paris and Germany bahtroom like never clean and you would not imagine what i found. All staff are indain they are nice,place great near SOL,Mira,MTR etc. Anyway i would like to stay room which same in pic not like that dirty share room. Free wifi, hot and cold water and good secure.

Liked: The location is good, at center of city few minutes from MTR. Never change bedsheet even though we stayed for 6 nights.

Disliked: The lift is very slow, especially during check-in where you bring your luagages. The Hostel Reception is not at the place they advertised (6th Floor), at another floor where you have to come down to ground floor and take another lift to 7th Floor.

Liked: This place is new and clean compared to other hostels in the building. A good bargain for the price.

Disliked: Nothing in particular. Although the room is extremingly small, you can't expect to find any larger one at this price.

Liked: very good rooms, very clean , good staff as well as owner is very co-operative. this is the best palace for staying.

Liked: It was cheap and clean and available. Also, even though I learned to loathe and despise Chungking Mansion, you really need to stay there for at least a night or two. That building is a marvelously unique Hong Kong experience.

Disliked: Mostly, I disliked the lack of a common room. There's no place in the hostel to relax and meet other travelers. Also, everything smelled like curry (which isn't necessarily a bad thing). If I remember right, Paris Guesthouse, Germany Hostel, City Hostel, and Singh Guesthouse are all the same place. Nothing wrong with that. It's just a little weird and makes me wonder why the owner decided to do that.

Liked: the room and hostel - singh hostel that I was placed in, not the germany hostel that i had booked, were clean.

Disliked: the owners do not place you in the hostel that you have booked but rather in any of the 4 they own.

Liked: Really nice and new in Chungking Mansion. Chungking isn't for evryone, but it is a great cultural melting pot and a tourist site all on its own.

Liked: I like the design of the room is so amazing for me. very clean eventhough the outside is not really looks like.

Disliked: outside of the room is really hot because has no air conditioner.

Liked: Stayed in a single room - very good and clean for Chungking Mansions, I would say spotless clean. Room has a fan and an air conditioner. The bed, the floor, the walls and the toilet were perfectly clean. The person at the reception was helpful. (remember that the reception is on the 7th floor)

Disliked: Some people get freaked out when they see the non-European people hanging out in Chungking Mansions, but I don't think they are dangerous at all. Also remember that cheap accommodation in Hong Kong means small rooms, that's normal.
