Liked: Met some cool people here. Whilst the area of Chungking mansions leaves alot to be desired, this Hostel was certainly one of the best that I have heard about. Sonu was very friendly, had some good banter with him and he can sort out anything you need, including a 2 hour free laundry service...

Liked: Very clean hostel, helpful staff, would stay there again if I am in the area. There are many hostels in that building but I think German one was one of the best. Additionally they gave free bottled water, soap, towels to use. They cleaned the room everyday. Rooms were small but you cant complain cause its very cheap compared to hotels in the area. Free Wi Fi there and have computers to use if you don't have a laptop, room had Air Con and a ceiling fan. Internet, Bed, AC, that's really all you need. Recommend it to all.

Liked: It is very clean and the staff are both friendly and helpful. I have extended my stay here due to the quality of this hostel and it's location. I would certainly recommend this hostel to others.

Liked: Well the hotelroom itself was clean even the rooms and especially bathroom/shower/bathroom sink were extremely small! Sheets were washed but not so clean, full of old dirts. It was really nice that there werent wall-to-wall-carpet in the rooms. The views from window and surroundings like corridors and ground floors were quite fearful. Ofcourse the price is less what you pay for the room, but through hostels.com you can usually get hotel from 3-star-hotel with same prices 15€/night. But staying in Chungking Mansions is also legendaric so one time there was also nice, but I wouldn't go anymore :) Thanks for the very helpful staff!!

Liked: Excellent, prompt & friendly service by service personnel who responded quickly to any problems encountered with just a phone call from our room. Bedsheets & bath towels are changed daily. Toilet rolls & soap are provided daily. CCTV in corridors, lifts & other areas are monitored regularly to provide a safe lodging experience. Only one fault - toilets are too tiny for fat people. Enlarge toilets & increase rates slightly would be better.

Liked: Great tourist location, super clean, friendly staff, 24hr access, fast WiFi. AC works. Surveillance cameras covering all the halls makes it feel secure.No TV in my dorm room and lack of common room makes it harder to meet folks you are not sharing a room with.I liked it so much, I am on my second stay,

Liked: I got what I paid for. If you are strapped for cash, only then should you consider this place. Though, I would recommend staying somewhere a bit further out instead. The building is a pit. The first floor is full of hawkers and people just hanging out, looking a bit seedy and intimidating. I did not feel safe getting to and from my room. The room was small and awful, but again, I only paid $25 a night, what did I expect. The door locked and the room was therefore safe. That's about the only kind word I had for it.

Liked: I've stayed in germany hostel for two days. They had very fast wifi, friendly staff and very clean as well. I felt very safe because of those camera in the alleys. I highly recommend this hostel to everybody.

Liked: this hostel is recently open very nice rooms and clean. my room has a big window with attach bathroom,free wifi . staff is very friendly and helpfull. location is very nice near to metro station, shoping centers, bus stop and very nice view of harbour. i highly recomended this place.

Liked: For Hong Kong, compared to other forms of accommodation the rates are very cheap. What you get is a very small room with a bed and wash room. Its basic but with the location for me it was everything I needed, just somewhere to sleep. If your looking to meet people this is maybe not the hostel for you as it has no common area. Sonny the manager is a really nice chap very happy and helpful.

Liked: It was one of the most memorable trip to Hong Kong. I am a girl and was worried about my trip - but once I arrived the things were totatally differnt - the staff for so cooperative and helpful, the whole property had CCTV surillance which made me feel relaxed and comfortable. The rooms very very well decorated and neat and clean. The aura was wonderful and gave a very lively feel. It is the best value for money and I definately recommend it and I would be staying evrytime the same place. Cheers and best of luck Mr. Jhonny!
