Liked: The only vaguely good thing is that its in a convenient place but at 1:30 am there was someone trying to get into my room on 2 different nights and luckily I had mended the bolt which did not work when I arrived. The place is very dirty - but its a bed in a central area.

Liked: actually this is the second time i stay in this hostel which operation and receptionist in 13 floor, but i wonder that the room provided to us is quite comfortable compare with the money we paid, but that only 1 thing i not feel so prefer is the overall of the room seem like quite lousy and dirty, i more prefer clean room provide to us. talk about safety and other, i think that is more than exepcted because the room quite big and is safe.

Liked: Nothing is good,except for location.The bathroom is super small and some smell coming out from it during our stay. Some other hostels i have stayed before in Hong Kong is much better than this one. Unlike other hostel that provide free luggage keeping service, they charge for luggage keeping at an hour basis.

Liked: The buiding is old . And the lift nearby the hostel is only function until 10pm every night . After 10pm need use the lift in the center of the buiding , is far .. And the whole building is processing the rebuild project . Veli noisy . the hostel also look veli old . but tidy and neat .The furnish in room is old . But the size of the room is bigger than other hostel .

Liked: The location is perfect. It is along Nathan Road in Tsim Sha Tsui. Walking distance to Avenue of Stars and nearby landmarks. Walking distance to China Ferry Terminal for our day trip to Macau. To Kowloon Park. Able to ride Star Ferry and cross to Hongkong Island. Just beside the MTR. Very good foreign exchange on the ground floor. Our favorite souvenir shop, Cinderford is at the groung floor. Walking distance to our favorite champui shop along Nathan Road. Accessible from and to the airport via Bus Shuttle A21. The building may be old, but once you enter the room, it is small but comfortable. The most important requirement to me was a clean bathroom inside. Mr. Lee was accommodating enough. We were expecting the worst really, this being a hostel. True enough, when we arrived the registration is just along the corridor of the 13th floor. But when we were able to rest and have lunch inside our cute room, everything was okey. We had good value for money. If the price remains the same, I would book in this same hostel. We already know our way around. This is actually our first time to stay in a hostel. It is the cheapest I found at hostelbookers.com. We always stayed in hotels before (BP International, Panda Hotel, Royal View Hotel). We were able to save money choosing Kowloon New Hostel. It made this trip to Hongkong more exciting, like an adventure, trying something new.

Liked: Mirador Mansio was sketchy and dirty, but the hostel was clean. Very small though.

Liked: This is very basic but great value for a budget trip in Hong Kong. From what I hear expensive chain hotels aren't much bigger.
