Liked: The price, the room was clean, and I felt safe inside the room.
Disliked: There were a lot of creepy men hanging around. As a female, it made me very uncomfortable.

Liked: the location thats it
Disliked: everything, it stank like body odour in the room. the staff where unfriendly, the lifts took to long. you have to stand on the toilet to use the shower. plus toilet stank of piss that you couldn't brush your teeth there, cause you would throw up

Liked: not much but it was close to the shuttle bus stop
Disliked: 1) No reception, just a desk in the hall way, no mention of New Garden anywhere, so its not really clear where you are. 2) Not a dorm, just 4 bunk beds squashed into laundry room, they have to clear a space for you when you turn up. 3) The place is like a shelter and your treated as if your homeless and they're doing you a favour by letting you sleep in their laundary room. 4)The man is unfriendly so don't bother asking any questions 5) Single, 23, Female: I didn't feel safe.

Liked: It's close ti the metro - makes it easier if you are new in town
Disliked: The rude & rip-off manager, the building is a safety hazard - no escape routes (at least not marked) & it is filthy.

Disliked: Beds were old and dirty. The dorm smelled bad. Beds had no bedsheets and most didn't have pillow. This is for sure the dirtiest hostel I've ever been on...

Liked: They had none of the rooms that I booked so they upgraded me for free.The people aren't at all friendly but I think that is just true of people in HK generally, don't take it personally.Alternatively you can get $60 AC 4-bed rooms (albeit small) with a much friendlier service in Cosmic GH on the floor below.

Liked: Beware of the manager trying to scam you. Was shown a selection of rooms when I turned up, all for prices more expensive than on the site. Finally shown to the room that I booked which had no bathroom (was advertised as ensuite). Tried explaining to manager, he swore that this was what I had booked. I had been up for 30 hours travelling and was too tired to protest.

Liked: The lady at the desk couldn't be ruder if she tried, amazingly un helpful. I was ment to stay 3 nights but I could only hack one there was a man blowing snot next to the clean linin everything is dirty and broken...STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE

Liked: Stayed in the 4-bed mixed room.OK; if you just need bare essentials like a bed, a hot shower/toilet. drinking water, wifi available too.Not a good idea to book for summer - there was only 1 electric fan in the room.Bonus: TV in the room - not that anyone watches :pLocation is excellent to visit all the sights; but stay in Mongkok if you want to shop. :)
