Liked: Great Location. Small rooms, but mine had a private shower. Great if your by yourself and not looking for anyone else and looking for an inexpensive place to stay for a few nights.

Disliked: No chance of meeting other people, not that type of hostel.

Liked: This hostel did was a great place to stay on a budget. Clean and secure, plus the room size was decent and we had a window!

Liked: it had an exit door

Disliked: the staff didnt seem to be ready for my arrival i was shown 2 rooms both not been cleaned before, we was shown the room we had booked in another block ( D ) the room was small as expected but there was no cleaning of the room, the bedding was never changed during our stay wasnt any towels, other guests were wrather noisey at night banging room doors.

Liked: The location was very convenient. It's near shops, restaurants, and the MTR.

Disliked: The facilities were old and our room smelled like curry.

Liked: Steven Lau (manager) and his wife was friendly.

Disliked: First day was very bad as we came to the room #1 at 8th floor at Yan Yan Guest House. We asked another room and we have moved to the room #1 again but on the 12th floor. It was better that room #1 8th floor but still was dirty enough! We compare the other hostel neighbors: it was clean!!! other hostel at the floor 12 but there was no rooms available. The floor in our room and walls was dirty, bad smells was coming to the room. Sometimes smells of cigaret was comming from the corridor. Dust was everywhere. There was mop in a bucket with dirty water in the corridor near refrigirator . The cleaning woman was not friendly, when we came to ask her to wash our clothes in the washing mashing, she startes to ask for payment for the accomodation, but we have already payed for our room. Next time better to choose another guest house.

Liked: The location was perfect. The room was very very small, but we only used it for sleeping so it was more than fine. The room was clean and it's was a safe place to stay. It was the cheapest option we could find on Nathan road. There was free wifi too. If you like a cheap place at a good location, and does'nt matter if the room are cozy then this is a perfect place to stay.

Liked: The friendliness and helpfulness of the hotel owner. I had got lost and he phoned my girlfriend to find out if I was alright, which I was very impressed with.
