Liked: Huone oli siisti mutta pieni. Henkilökunta oli todella ystävällinen ja hune siivottiin joka päivä. Sijainti hyvä koska metroasema oli vieressä . Joen rantaan oli viiden minuutin kävelymatka. Kauppakeskuksia oli vieressä useita.

Disliked: Alhaalla oleva kauppakatu oli aika pelottava. Sielä kaupataan kokaiinista kelloihin ja kaikkea siltä väliltä. Hostelli sijaitsi 16:ssa kerroksessa ja sinne meni vain yksi hissi jota joutui odottamaan välillä tosi kauan.

Liked: Renovated just three years ago. Nice and helpful owner and staff. Clean and soft lighting in the room instead of bright fluorescent lighting.

Liked: Hostel is close to the subway. Location is good for getting to main parts of the city, many fast food and restaurants near by.

Disliked: Very small room, toilet and shower were tiny.

Liked: The location..

Disliked: Well, first of all they had mixed up our booking, so did not stay at Garden Hostel, they put us in a room Safari Hotel. They said "you should be happy you even got a room, it is full everywhere". The next day we were suppose to get a room at Garden, which we had booked, but when asking to change they acted really threatening and hostile. The next day we just left the room and found a nice hotel in downtown. Chunk King Mansion - NEVER STAY THERE! It is not safe, very dirty and horrible. It gives you the wrong idea of Hong Kong. I would not recommend my worst enemy to stay there!

Liked: At least it's (in)famous, cheap, room acceptably clean and location is great.

Disliked: The sewage stench along the corridor outside the hostel, lift that's very crowded that breaks down frequently and takes forever to come, unfriendly service (or lack of one - had to wait for half hour during check in to confirm my room & outrageous behaviour of the hostel in-charge in shifting my personal effects without my permission and while I was away), the lack of honesty of the landlady and the dodgy feel of the place and people are all the unpleasant factors that discourage any stout-hearted bacpacker.

Liked: The receptionist are all trust worthy! I forgot my passport at the front desk and they manage to keep it and give it back to me. I enjoyed my stay at Garden Hostel and i am so much thankful that i stayed there. If not for them i should be in trouble right now.

Disliked: nothing..

Liked: Very convenient location, near MTR and shopping belts.

Disliked: Downstairs is a bit rowdy . . . . lots of immigrants hanging around. . . may be a bit unsafe for single lady. The lifts are small and always packed... even being used by construction workers to carry up renoation materials.

Liked: very clean and helpful staff. we had 4 person nice room which was 2 double beds pushed together. wasnt ideal but ok. next time twin room. we would stay again.

Liked: Clean, good size comfortable bed, shampoo/showergel provided, TV in room

Disliked: When we arrived the actual place we had booked was a building site, but we found the office as the owners run a number of hostels there and we were quickly found a room, of the same specification as we had booked, for the same price. Shame the place we went to had no communal area.

Disliked: A bit dodgy first impression, but all in all good place.

Liked: not much apart from the location

Disliked: the building was falling apart, the cold water didn't work which meant the shower was too hot to stand under and the staff were unfriendly. In fact they tried to scam an extra 50 HK dollars out of me for the room by saying they had no single beds left only double ones when I had booked it weeks in advance

Disliked: the beds are only for people under 175cm rooms was so small that there was nearly not enough space for the bags the staff was very noisy to late in the night

Liked: Just location, but others is not recommended!!!The photos in the website are total different from the exact room.I ask for the new one, but the reception told me that there is no room in the picture form hostelbooker website. VERY DISAPPOINTED with this point.

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.
