Liked: Great location: right by the subway and super easy to take the A21 bus to and from the airport.

Disliked: Zero atmosphere or friendliness. Windowless room. Toilet room doubles as shower stall. For a private room I had to book a two-person room, but it would be crazy to actually squeeze two people into it.

Liked: Location was great.

Disliked: The staff seemed angry all the time and just sat by their computer playing games or watching TV series all day. There are other hostels in the same building that are better.

Liked: Jacky was friendly and helpful and loved his dog

Disliked: Rooms too small, loudness of guests in close quarters; his wife is unfriendly to the max. Tiny fridge and only a microwave - no place to sit down other than your bed

Liked: Great location in Kowloon. Stop #6 on the airport A21 bus. Then five minutes walk to the hostel building. Stayed on the 5th floor (office and other rooms on 7th). No wifi on my floor. Water and microwave provided. Phone inside room with free local calls. Shower has hot water. I read many reviews where other travelers complained on Jacky (owner) being unfriendly. Well he was just direct and short when he talks to you. Not the type of person to carry a long conversation with but otherwise he's okay. He has a lot of rules such as turn off the light and AC when youre not in the room, turn off shower heater and light when youre done but this is something I encountered in many hostel properties. Afterall, you are staying in "their house.". So just have to deal with their rules. Really cheap noodle place across the street, vendor selling grilled food on a stick (super cheap) just outside the bulding and less than 5 mts to the MTR station. $30 something dollars a night for a PRIVATE single room? I'd say this is a hidden gem of a hostel in the city!

Liked: Good location, 3 min away from Mong Kog MTR station.

Disliked: Dirty. The room was filthy and it was not really cleaned during our stay. There were lots of human hair on the floor. Disgusting. Would never stay there again.

Liked: Clean room, free drinking water (great for budget HK), English tv channel, superfast pc and wifi, big stash of tourist guide books, soft loo roll..., located near a few attractions and metro. Jacky Chan

Disliked: Beds a bit short (although im 6ft 3), Curtains let in a lot of light as vey busy and noisy outside throughout night. A little distance from main Hong Kong but metro is close and easy to navigate.

Liked: Perfect location, metro station is in walking distance. Plenty of shopping nearby. Rooms are clean and quiet. The man owner that runs it is wonderful. He provided very helpful guides for sight-seeing.

Disliked: The guesthouse is located in a pretty crummy building, with some very slow elevators

Liked: Great experience! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good location and very convenient transportation with airport bus stop and metro stations less than 5 minutes walking distance. I have already recommended this place to a friend!

Disliked: Waited for long que to go back to our room after mid-night with the slow elevators.

Liked: It was very clean, and although the room was tiny (a normal thing in Hong Kong) everything we needed was in the room, even a small hot water dispenser and some cups for tea!) Great location too.

Disliked: The staff were a little rude, but this could have been due to the many customers he was trying to deal with at once.

Liked: I had a wonderful stay here. Being a first timer in HK, the place was so easy to find being it along the busy street plus the fact that it is very accessible for public transport, near places to visit and a very lively environment. The man owner was really helpful, very pleasant and accommodating. Great place!!

Disliked: I was amazed to see our room that is very tidy but still good enough for those on budget

Liked: Good location

Disliked: No actual window to look through (apparently it's exclusive addition in Hong Kong. The room was tiny with hardly any storage space and we stayed there for about 7 days.

Liked: Probably one of the best hostels we had ever stayed. Our room and the bathroom attached was very clean. Perfect location, MTR station can be reached within minutes on foot. Amazing helpful man owner solved every single problem for us.

Disliked: The queue in front of the lift up to the 15th floor takes longer than crossing the street to reach the station

Liked: The staff are very accommodating, they were very helpful when we asked for directions and even called some offices on our behalf. The hostel is also located in the heart of Kowloon is very accessible to most tourist destinations in Kowloon and in Central district. It is quite clean.

Disliked: I suggest they could have some slippers for sale because I really don't like wearing shared slippers

Liked: Very nice location in the middle of Monkok within walking distance of the MTR, Bus lines, restaurants and shops. Room was clean.

Disliked: The staff was very unfriendly and didn't speak any English except a shouted "Passport". Room was a shoebox without window and therefore overpriced. The house doesn't give a clean or well-kept impression but that seems to be the norm in Hong Kong.

Liked: Hostel was very good overall. Extremely clean, very quiet, very secure/safe. It accomplished those goals very well. Very helpful staff who gave useful information for touring the city.

Disliked: No common room, difficult to meet other visitors but a matter to us.

Liked: Best place to stay in Kowloon!!! All types of thansport near you, every day fresh towel, amazing stuff with good english! Lived in this place for 7 days, so i hope to came back in there!
