Liked: Free WiFi and location

Disliked: Everything else. I thought that the staff tried to cheat us, our toilet didn't work and we got no refund etc...

Liked: The location. It is quite centrally located, also right next to the Tsim Sha Tsui MRT Station. But this also applies to dozens of other hostels in the same building (Mirador Mansion).

Disliked: Worst experience ever. All other hostels in the Mirador Mansion are better than this one! Room was moldy, air quality was really poor. The fan did not work (a no-window room by the way!!). Front desk sent two employees, both of them were unable/unwilling to fix the fan. The second employee actually admitted that the problem with the fan had been known before, but had never been fixed. The "hostel manager", a daughter of the hostel's owner, both from mainland China and extremely impolite, snobbish and unprofessional characters, did not want to help at all and blamed us for everything. The typical excuses followed. They even called the police and did not want to fulfill their part of the deal. Very poor. Never experienced this kind of drama. Two other guests (Edith from Australia and Esther from South East Asia) reported that they experienced similar problems with their rooms and the staff. We met them at the front desk and quickly agreed that this hostel is not worth staying at. Do not stay here, pay a bit more to get something else, or travel at another date if nothing else is free!!

Liked: the location is reallly good,you can go to anywhere easily by public transpotation,and there is even the biggest shopping mall by only 5 minites walking

Disliked: they didnt have bed covers which made me feel really cold when the air-con was on at night but if you turned off the air-con it was very hot

Liked: The location is very good. But it is really expensive to say there, maybe it is not cheap to stay in Hong Kong anyway, the price is really high for that room... The stuff is okay. We checked out late, but the clerk is really kind to help us and no over charge. Thank you.

Liked: Perhaps that is really just next to the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station.

Disliked: Our room smelled really bad. The room had no windows. The matresses were like a bord of wood. The airconditioning was really old and thus very loud. The whole building was very old and dirty.

Liked: This is more of a budget hotel than a hostel. It is in a good location and the staff were friendly, but there are no facilities or communal areas so not the best places to stay if you want to meet lots of people. It is located in quite an authentic building though.

Disliked: Fine for our requirements, although was quite expensive for what it was. Also no window in our room but we weren't in it too much.

Liked: Fantastic location, helpful owner, good value for money.

Disliked: Room needed a little bit of TLC but to be honest even with that it was still great value for money in a great location.

Liked: Rooms are clean which is important to me. And it is very near the MTR which is helpful because after one whole day of shopping, you won't want to walk too far to go back to hotel.

Disliked: On our last night, there was this scary man offering massage who was following us. We had to go to different floors because we don't want him to know where we stay. Scary! But on a general note, the whole building seems secure enough.

Liked: Compared to the intransparent multi-hostel shuffle in the Chung King Mansion this Hostel keeps the promises made on the hostelbookers page. You live in the very center of Hong Kong in a very small but clean room, you get clean towels everyday have TV and free WiFi. The value you get for the price is excellent!The Mansion itself is a great multi-ethnic gathering place. You can get very good Samosas and stuff :)

Disliked: The hustlers downstares can get on your nerves... but if you've travelled in India, you won't mind too much.

Liked: The location is perfect, just steps away from MTR Tsim Sha Tsui exit D1. The room and bathroom are clean. There is a free wi-fi.

Disliked: The room is very small, and also double bed looks like a single bed.

Liked: its very close to mtr and many museums in hong kong.located strategically in the heart of the city, nathan road where you can find many shopping places...

Disliked: all the hostel rooms in hong kong are very small. i went to HK for 6 nights. i stayed here for 3 days and in New Hong Kong Hostel for 3 days, but this USA hostel is definitely better. the staff is not that friendly if u r used to travelling in european countries, u'll know what i mean but generally the hong kongers themselves are not that nice and friendly.

Liked: The rooms were very secure and the location was excellent. Also it was a bonus that the shower was not above the toilet!

Disliked: Hard to find if you don't pick up a map at the MTR when you enter Hong Kong. No real sign indicating where it is until you find the lift.

Liked: I've stayed here twice. Great location, right around the corner from MTR...the rooms are small and not exactly luxiourious,but the price, location, helpfulness of the staff is great. theres also hot water, western toilets, air con and fans, drinking water, internet, lots of maps...

Disliked: i don't have many complaints, rooms are a bit small and obviously a bit old but definitely tolerable (unless one plans on spending all their time in the room).
