Liked: This is not a hostel, but a nice hotel. We were pleasantly surprised by the large room (for HK standards).

Disliked: The staff was generally quite brusque. The free shuttle bus service is good when leaving the hotel, but trying to find it to get back to the hotel was impossible. Also, it was a bit pricey (but we were there during the Spring Festival).

Liked: Good location on Hong Kong island, very good service and very good hotel, felt very luxurious after several cheap nights in chunking mansions in kowloon

Disliked: Reasonably priced considering location and facilities and they have an hourly shuttle bus to town but only 10 minute walk down hill (15 -20 mins uphill very steep) to soho and bit more to ifc shopping mall

Liked: The best feature was the location. The hotel was very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Disliked: The billing system was totally confusing. The charges were broken down into dozens of sub-headings and I was never sure if we had paid for everything or not. I kept thinking we were going to be hit with some surprise charge at the end of it all.

Liked: it's a bed for the night...

Disliked: windows screwed shut & rooms stink of previous occupants' cigarette smoke dead boring place to stay location ok but not interesting not particularly good value for money when compared with promotions (and facilities) available at hotels in same bracket

Liked: Well located, quiet with great staff. A very good value for Hong Kong. Small but very clean and updated rooms with excellent lighting, free wireless, flat screen tv. Good breakfast: must get in the breakfast room before 9:30am. One of the two business center computers (for a fee) was not functioning. Free shuttle to/from 4 key locations throughout the day. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to the business or leisure traveller. I will return to the Bishop Lei next year.

Liked: This is a HOTEL not a HOSTEL. It's located just off the massive escalator hill which means it's easy to get in and out of the main shopping district. They also have a great patio/swimming pool area with great views over the city.

Liked: I found this a really good place to relax and get a good nights sleep during a one night stop over in Hong Kong. However be aware they levy a 10 per cent service charge to the bill.

Liked: Bishop Lei has very good location,has nice free mini bus service to city centre and MTR. It is a value place to stay.

Liked: Best location for the mid-level area,soho, central etc. Cozy and clean. Decent price for such location. Definately back for HK and BL.

Liked: This hotel was in a fantastic location and much cheaper than alternatives that are in the mansions in TST, which are notoriously seedy and unsafe. Most people staying here are on business trips, so it's not great to meet people, but there's a pool and gym which is nice.

Liked: The room was clean and as shown on the site with everything that I needed, the staff are helpful and the view from the pool and the terrace are amazing. The location is ok, with a shuttle bus to various places and easy access to the mid level escalators. However it is not very close to the MTR which was a bit of a disadvantage.Overall, having stayed in Kowloon before in places like chungking, I urge people to spend a little more and stay here or somewhere in central, much cleaner and safer.

Liked: This is the best hotel we have stayed in during our 6 month trip. It is great value for money and if you are lucky you may be upgraded to a small suite! The location is good for Soho and Hong Kong Island and they have a free shuttle bus to the airport express and several other useful locations.Free wifi, a swimming pool and a great view if you get a harbour side room.
