Liked: the location was safe and central.

Liked: great location. very easy to get to from the airport. close to Victoria park where you can go jogging.

Liked: What's good about Hong Kong Hostel, apart from it being cheaper than hotels is the location.

Disliked: The acoustic of the room can be quite disturbing if you're a light sleeper. You can hear noises from other rooms next door and above. The toilet is well maintained but I don't like the idea of taking a shower with the toilet bowl in front of you.

Liked: This is one of the best hostels in Hong Kong. The location in Causeway Bay is great, they have computers with free Wifi, and it's cheap.

Disliked: Like most hostels in HK, the room was tiny. Also, the hot water in the shower only lasted for about 5 minutes...that's not cool when it's freezing outside.

Liked: The location is good to walk around hong kong, but a bit noisy, though... internet worked fine.showerwas hot, witch is good for the winter.

Disliked: The hostel is spreaded through buildings in the region of causeway bay, and through several floors of residential buildings, which is weird... There was only one common room, at 47 patterson st.

Liked: Location in busy shopping area and close to metro

Disliked: Where do I start! Worst hostel I have stayed in and I am not fussy. Extortionate price over Chinese New Year. Difficult to find. Allows smoking everywhere. Toilet didnt flush for a whole day. No heating. Cramped and unpleasant everywhere. Room and bathroom not cleaned in the 4 days i was there. Only bins emptied. No lockers in room, they were in reception 6 floors down. Unfriendly staff, most don't speak English. Stay here only if you have absolutely no choice (I had to!).

Liked: Communal area for eating and accessing wifi

Disliked: The boiler making constant noise throughout the night. The hot water lasted 30secs. The unfriendliness and unapolagetic manner of the staff as we were moved without apology or reason. The general noise of staff and doors opening and closing. There was a terrible smell coming from the pipes in our room, which never faded no matter how long the aircon was on.

Liked: Good location, close to MTR station.

Disliked: The hostel was always freezing, epecially the bedroom it was so cold I couldn't sleep properly. Never any warm water in the shower, rarely any toilet paper, only 1 staff member could speak English the rest of them were really unfriendly and laughed at me when I asked for help. I didnt have a proper pillow, think it was a plastic bag in a pillow case. The map and directions are useless, it's not next to dry cleaners as stated. Overall, it's really bad definately wouldn't stay here again.

Liked: It has really good value for money. It has all basic needs when you are on travelling: wifi, clean shower and toilet and close to public transportation.

Disliked: Some of its co-workers seem to speak poor English.

Liked: Honestly I would rate it 9.5/10. Got myself a single room. Owner, Mr Sam was very nice. Bed was huge. Clean room and sheets. Good toilet facilities. Even have a tv and dressing table. Extremely convenient to mtr and shops. Slippers provided for room as well as toilet. Price was fantastic. Only 900hk dollars for 3 nights during peak period (cNy)

Disliked: no heater so room is cold during winter ( cos owner said it's fire hazard). No towel (but I didn't ask if they provide cos I brought my own). Can hear the shower taps from neighboring rooms (a bit noisy but very tolerable). Overall I'll stay here a million times over

Liked: I like almost everything here especially the location, since it is very near to the MTR station. Its also clean, hot shower is working so good. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. It also provides some stuff for foreign youths who stayed here. I really recommend it to others.

Disliked: Rooms are quiet small but its okay for the normal price here in Hong Kong.

Disliked: the people is devided in different building of the same neighborhood... but it works ok...

Liked: The property was in a good location easy access to the main transport, shops and very busy area. We enjoyed our stay and seen most of Hongkong Ronaldo

Disliked: Only problems were the bed mattress which were quite hard and the facilities were inadequate in the kitchen/lounge very basic, could do with improvements in this area.

Liked: I liked the location of the property as the area was really nice and it was easy access to get around the island. I had some trouble with the dorm room whilst staying here, but the owners managed to sort out this problem and move me to a new room. A good stay.

Disliked: Just some issues with the cleanliness of the dorm rooms.

Liked: Really good location, Cooking facilities which helps to save money on food, especially as there is a supermarket across the road. Staff are pretty helpful and friendly.

Disliked: The stay didn't start well, the dorm had a couple of problems with a few cockroaches coming out of the drainage in the shower but this was sorted and we were moved to a different room once we told the staff. Common room is a little on the small side but makes it easier to meet new people.
