Liked: Simple, cheap and good location.Back-packers will like the dorms.

Disliked: No wifi in -every- rooms, had to go to the reception.

Liked: The guests were good. The price was reasonable for me because I booked online with Hostelbookers, but they charged double for other guests.

Disliked: Biggest complaint from everyone was the management: rude and weird and missing half the time.

Liked: the location.the 24hr accessthe security.and the cleanlinessand for the most part the helpfulness of the staff

Disliked: I could not use the wifi in my room and did not see a lan socket but I did not look very hard. I went to reception to use the wifi there. (no real hardship there). The lack of a common room was not really an issue for me but if I was going to be there for longer than a couple of nights it would have been a drag.

Liked: Very basic hostel. Clean and secure and has everything that a backpacker needs!!!

Disliked: The staff weren't overly friendly or helpful. Atmosphere was average - Not overly easy to meet new people.

Liked: The location. I slept in a big room in the same floor as the reception with four other people. The room had a window and the A/C was working. I've heard that some people have had much worse conditions, so I must have been lucky!

Liked: If you are looking for just a place to spend the night, then this is for you. Location is awesome but don't expect anything else.

Liked: The location is great, don't expect too much of the room, they are literally boxes with a bed in it, but as you are in Hong Kong, you won't spend too much time in your room anyway. Have fun!

Liked: Nothing special but cheap and great location. While I was there I witnessed the staff arguing with guests on a number of occasions, even threatening to take extra money off their credit card if they didn't back down. There are signs everywhere saying that the hostel is not allowed as it is a residential building. They did however give my key deposit back on the last night as I had an early start. Oh, and there was free wifi in the room.

Liked: i hope they renovate this place. it's a pity because the location and building is great but the hostel particularly the rooms needs a total renovation. Room is not worth the price. If the owner doesn't want to lower the rate they should atleast fix their rooms and bathrooms..they should also hire staff that could understand and speak basic english

Liked: Rooms are cleaned every day and are actually good size for HKK standard (they have from 2 to 8bed dorm, all same price) You can find cheaper options in Kowloon (Mirador Mansion) but when I saw theirs rooms and the place I was happy to pay more and stay here. Kitchen is tiny and only used to make tea and coffee but they have fridges. Internet works +free local calls. Location's great, easy to go everywhere and there is a 24hs supermarket with fresh bakery right in front plus lots of 7/11. If u take the airport express u can pay with credit card and avoid to change money at the airport as the rates are terrible. Lots of competitive money changer around the hostel. The staff doesn't speak great English but enough to understand what u need. It's really a safe place and a good option if you want to stay in HKK island.

Liked: With such a good location at such a reasonable price, it seems almost churlish to raise any drawbacks here - as other users have said, the thing that this place most lacks is a common area (though the internet room doubles as a gathering point). While I was there, the in-room wi-fi was highly intermittent so don't rely on it.
