Liked: It was a home away from home! The rooms were clean, spacious and had all everything we needed for our stay. The beds were very comfortable, a small breakfast was available but the rooms also had a kitchen and fridge.

Disliked: Not really an easy place to meet people and not a lot of space to 'hang out'. A bit out of the way from the centre of things, but Pana is small and with a 5Q tuk-tuk ride, it was easy to commute.

Liked: Everything was absolut clean, nice stuff, good location... Rooms are very nice.

Liked: When you stay at Posada Los Encuentros, it feels like your home away from home. The rooms are perfect (large, extremely clean, with fridge), the owner does everything he can to help you (explain about the country, help you get around) and the breakfast is fantastic (like a little buffet) and there is a really nice garden with some kind of hot spring. I could not say anything bad about this place. The only things I did not rate as perfect were the location and the fun. The location because it is a 10 minute walk to the center and fun because it is a relaxing place (not a real backpacker heaven where you meet people from all over the world)... It all depends on what you are looking for...

Liked: The atmosphere was wonderful. Beautiful herb garden and the mineral spring hot tub is hidden treasure in this area. The staff there was very in tune with the area and peoples. Ecentricity fills the character of this place.

Liked: The whole atmosphere is radiating! Christian, Richard en Juan will do anything to make sure that your stay there is one you will remeber. Great rooms, great herbal garden, and lovely natural hot tub. If we're going back to Panajachel.... this is the only place we will want to stay!
