Liked: Brilliant place. Good WIFI. Great place to meet people if you're by yourself. Great bar and staff.

Disliked: Shower wasn't so hot at one point, but managed to get hot water most of the time. No kitchen, but food's so cheap in the city anyway!

Liked: Breakfast was absolutely amazing! Staff was very friendly also.

Disliked: It would be great if there was a nicer common area.

Liked: Breakfast is really good! It should be though, because its included in the price for the room. And a good place to meet other travellers.

Disliked: The lockers are really crappy, the rooms are dark and a bit cramped.

Liked: Central location, free internet, close to travel agencies, had a bar (although i didn´t drink there but seemed lively and sociable in the evenings).

Disliked: All the tours and shuttles leave at or before 8am so i was never able to get the included breakfast. Room was a bit ram shackle. Said that the deposit paid on hostelbookers.com was not taken off the price of the dorm bed.

Liked: The breakfasts are great. The bar is good and has a great atmosphere pretty much 24/7.

Disliked: It works out relatively expensive compared to other backpacker hostels in Guatemala, since although breakfasts are included in the slighly higher price this does not include drinks and these start from about 10Q.

Liked: The free breakfast.

Disliked: I was almost robbed by someone staying in my dorm room, as well as the fact that when I came back to the hostal from the bar, the night guard asked me my name to check the list.. but he basically just showed me the list and asked me to point out my name. I could have picked any name and he would have thouht it was me. I did not think that this hostel is secure.

Liked: The breakfast

Disliked: Cold showers, broken toliet and no lack of locks.

Liked: The staff was helpful, you could order your breakfast from the menu for free, and the bar was really cosy.

Disliked: There is no kitchen for cooking your own meals. Some of the dorms are awful shacks with no daylight, broken roof and freezing temperatures at night - and you pay the same for them as for the better ones. There is no place to stash your backpack on the dorms, as they are all cramped. Lots of cockroaches on the premises.

Liked: Close to main square. Very good breakfasts. Staff were helpful.

Disliked: Bathrooms were basic and we were not that keen to bathe!! Needs a bit of updating. Very open plan so noise a potential issue.

Liked: Free breakfast! Happy hour every night. This place is very centrally located in Antigua. Also, the best place to meet people (travelers) from all kinds of places.
