for whatever reason, this hostel attracts a really good crowd. So I think the guests were the best part of it, rather than the facility itself or the staff. There is a beautiful roof-top garden which earns it big points as well. However be aware, there are many times when the staff is not around at all, which can make it hard to get your stuff-check in-check out-etc.

The staff was friendly but sometimes not around when needed. You could get information about day trips and shuttles to other cities and book them through the hotel. The rooms on the 2nd floor by the street had lots of sun and a nice view of alfombras and processions for Semana Santa. The rooms on the first floor were a bit dark. The whole hotel was very colorful and filled with character. The showers have typical heaters attached to nozzle which produced mildly warm water. The other guests were friendly and helpful. It was very centrally located. They also had free internet, TV, towels, and a nice little balcony. Overall, it was an excellent experience and I would stay again.

The staff is really kind and helpful, especially thoese females employees. They gave me lots of advises which I didn't ask them to do so.

our room was in the front by the street and it was noisy. we got very little sleep the one night we stayed there. our fee paid to you was not deducted from the rate for the night. couldn't tell if you were promoted there or not, but the same thing happened at Dos Lunas in Guate City. but not in Zimbabwe when I used hostel bookers there in April. Thanks though, as it is nice to have a place to be sure of when I travel.

A little grungy, but a good bargain if you want a private room -- just $10us for a room and your own bathroom. The common areas weren't great, though. The location is fine, between the public market and the plaza.

The staff (and particularly the owner) were so helpful and made me feel very welcome - especially important when you are much older than the usual traveller.

It's relatively cheap, but private room is not worth the money, you still hear everybody else.
