Liked: Firstly, we stayed in a double room, which was lockable so that's always going to be secure. The location of the hostel is actually on the other side of the island to the port town of Ermopoulis, on Galissas beach. The small town of Galissas is lovely, with a couple of small markets within 100m of the hostel and several reasonably priced cafes and restaurants. The town lacks in an ATM. Likes are numerous. The place is really a hotel. Tony is a very nice bloke- he was always helpful with information on what to do and see. Wifi was useful. Rooms were clean and tidy. Towels, linen free.

Disliked: We went in peak season, but even so the rooms were quite expensive (30 euro a night pp for the double room) for what you get in terms of limited services at the actual hotel and the quiet popularity of the town and island in general. Still, I believe other similar establishments offer similar prices, and on Tony's helpfulness alone, I'd stay at Peter and Tony's again.

Liked: Tony was willing to pick me up from the ferry, since the hotel is not conveniently located to harbor. He was willing to provide any information I needed. Room was spacious, very clean, small balcony, restaurants and beach in immediate vicinity.

Disliked: My room faced the street, which was extremely noisy every night till from about 9:30-10:30 p.m. with motorcycles and scooters racing and "dragging" the street in front of the hotel. I don't know if that happens all of the time.

Liked: The quality of the room, the friendlyness of the staff, the quiet and beautiful location, the private balcony, the typical cycladic decoration. I stayed longer because I loved it so much. I highly recommand this place.

Liked: It's lovely, with a wooden balcony with blu chairs. Beds are big and you can have a very good breakfast downstairs, in a little bar were syros inhabitants meet to have a talk.

Liked: I liked everything about it. It's in a nice quiet part of the island, right in front of the beach, breathtaking scenery, endless sunsets, everybody is nice and helpful. If I go back to Syros again, I'd stay here again, not only for the location but also because of the kindness of the staff.
