Liked: The location is super. The whole town is accessible by feet in a few minutes. In spite of that in the night it is quite quiet :)

Liked: Fresh, clean rooms. The balcony was a relaxing place with flowers and climbers.

Liked: We booked a twin ensuite which came with the added perk of a private roof terrace (which we didn't know about when we booked).Gisela was really helpful and if she wasn't around then her friends and neighbours were always on hand to answer any touristy questions etc...We were right in the centre of town, but it was really nice and quiet just sitting on the roof terrace and relaxing. All in all a great base to explore the island from.

Liked: fantastic! gisela was very friendly and helpful - giving us maps and tips on where to go around the island, as well as helping us for our journey back to athens. location was right in the heart of skiathos town but on a quiet street so no noise. our room was quite large (despite the website saying it was the smallest of the rooms) with a balcony, and was clean & tidy. would definately recommend giselas house to all!

Liked: it was great! i've been backpacking my way for 2 months and its the best value for money. has a fridge, a balcony, with a huge, pull down mosquito net (brand new) so you can sleep with opened doors but not bitten to death. has a selection of books. very clean. Gisele herself very helpful with great advice on what to visit etc excellent.
