Liked: Beautiful Place with views and fairly close to the town. Clean and friendly staff and love the doors onto my own balcony.

Disliked: Not in a great location area wise, felt a bit unsafe walking from the bus stop of an evening. Was ok, but uneasy. Just took some getting used to. But property itself is wonderful.

Liked: It was clean and the pool was a bonus. The owner (Helen) was very helpful and made us feel very welcome.

Disliked: It was a bit further into the main town than we thought and the bus timetable was hard to work out so we often ended up walking for about 25 mins in the evenings.

Liked: Staff , Helen is very kind and helpful. If I come here again , I would definately stay here.

Disliked: I think it's a bit far to walk to town but you can walk about 1.5 km.

Liked: We had a private room for the three of us with a bathroom attached. The owners were very friendly and always willing to help us out. It had a relaxed atmosphere to the place. The husband offered to pick us up at the port which was very kind. The property was clean.

Disliked: No complaints.

Liked: Location was perfect for a quiet stay but close to the main town (walking distance). The pool and outdoor area was gorgeous. Room was spacious and bathroom clean and new. Owner family were so helpful and friendly. We will go back again and would reccommend to everyone.

Disliked: Honestly nothing.

Liked: the owners are so wonderful and helpful. our room is clean and no problem at all. there are stores and bakeries nearby. shopping is walking distance and the grocery too.

Liked: The hostel was decently located and was within 15 minutes walking distance from the main town of Fira. There was a nice swimming pool, though a little small but still a good respite from the greek summer heat nonetheless. Rooms were clean and good. The owners were very nice to pick us up from the ferry terminal even though we arrived late on the ferry at almost 1 - 2 AM in the morning. For the price you pay, it is very well-worth it.

Liked: Beautiful building, the entire place was clean and well looked after inside and out. Helen and George were extremley welcoming. i had the pleasure of meeting her daughter and she was very sweet (apologies i can't remember her name) and answered all my questions. I had a really lovely room with lots of space an a cute ensuite bathroom. it was just so lovely. The centre of town was about 15 minutes on foot and 5 minutes by bus.

Liked: The owners of this place, Helen and George, were so helpful. George picked us up from the airport, while Helen helped us with booking a boat tour to take in the main sights of santorini. They even provided beach towels to us and the place generally had good facilities (wifi and swimming pool). The pension is very close to some great tavernas and also a bus stop into central fira which is also only a 15min walk away. Would highly recommend

Liked: I stayed at the pension for about a week. I really enjoyed and I would recommend the place definitely for everyone. The room was very clean, swimming pool as well. The air conditioning works well, and there was even a bottle of wine waiting for us in the fridge. The owners are very nice, they treat all guests with the respect. I would definitely recommend the Pension George for everyone.

Liked: It was an affordable place to stay and the surrounding area was quite chilled out compared to the Fira. The pool is amazing!

Disliked: The bathrooms are really really basic and the rooms have little to no character... it's quite a walk to Fira but if you have transport there should be no problem.

Liked: Pension George was so great. It is work the few extra euros that you save by not staying in Perissa. The hostel is an easy walk from Fira, the main town, and the people at the hostel are so kind and wonderful! We had originally booked for three days for three people, but because of the volcano eruption in Iceland (random) one person couldn't make it, and then we were a day late because of a ferry strike. But they only charged us for two people for two nights! Plus they drove us from the ferry and to the airport at 5 in the morning, gave us directions and recommendations, and were so friendly and welcoming. Great place.

Liked: Pension George was a great stay for out time in Greece. Its only drawback is that you need to travel by bus or taxi to get to most of the sights on Santorini. The bus stop is close but we had trouble catching it and ended up taking a taxi a few times, I suspect that part of our problem was due to visiting during the offseason. Helen was wonderfully helpful and fun to talk to! Over all a thumbs up!

Liked: The property was beautiful and very clean. It was wonderful that the owners were able to pick us up form the port upon arrival and drive us back to our ferry when we departed.

Liked: Extremely helpful staff and great value for money hotel. Although nothing amazing it has something that makes your stay very welcoming.... it is very clean, spacious rooms, nice pool and terrace. Definetely would recommend it for budget travelers. The location is not the best but you can walk to thira or rent a scooter/car and problem solved.

Liked: Helen and family were very welcoming and very helpful. I was traveling on my own and was very impressed with the single room I was given, it was big, clean, secure, ensuite, fridge and had a balcony. The pool was a bonus and great for relaxing around when not sightseeing or going to the beach. I had a enjoyable stay and would definitely go back to pension george.

Liked: Very friendly staff. Great accomodation. The lady who worked there was very helpful with information on how to get about on the island and which tours were interesting.
