Liked: Great pool and lovely receptive and helpful staff. Great to have pick-up and drop-off, and plenty of good advice from the hosts. Good location too, close to supermarket and a gentle walk to Fira.

Liked: Beautiful grounds. The pool is great. Rooms are VERY clean. The owner wanted us to pay in cash instead of credit. It is just a short drive to Fira, which wasn't a problem since we rented a quad. It was very difficult to find on our own. It took driving around for quite a while to find it.

Liked: The room we stayed in was real nice and clean.....the bathroom was also very modern looking with a marble shower and floor. The toilet had a loud and unusual sound every time we flushed it but that was about it.

Liked: The owners were very friendly, welcoming and helpfull. I would recommend this place for people on a budget - the value for money is unbeatable! It is a 15 min walk from Fira, but if you do any tours they pick you in town. I would definitely stay there again!

Liked: A friendly, well-ran establishment. Free port and airport pickup. George and Helen did everything possible to ensure a memorable stay on Santorini. I would definitely return in the future.

Liked: Cheapest place I've ever stayed and yet it was very, very nice. The owners are fantastic, will help you make plans and reservations around the island. Big, clean room, beautiful pool, near bus stop that goes to the beach, walking distance to shops and car rentals. Absolutely stay at Pension George!!

Liked: The pension was beautiful and kept clean. Swimming pool was a plus! The hotel is hard to find if you did not get picked up at the port by George. I would stay here again!

Liked: Nice, friendly staff and clean and comfortable rooms. Karterados is ever so near Fira, only about ten minutes walk. This hostel is in lovely village with the real greek atmosphere, not just fake for turists. Good typical restaurants near by too. I do recommend it.

Liked: I really enjoyed the helpful service that George and Helen offers. Helen was always there to answer my questions, helping me call and arrange my activities around Santorini. George also picked me up from the port and dropped me off to the airport. They are really nurturing and informative.

Liked: The owner (with her husband) of the hostel, Helen, was extremely helpful and kind. This is a good option if you want to avoid the craziness of Fira, but would like to be close to it. Also, it is located very near a central bus stop. We discovered after ariving that all of hte buses to the different villages on the island run to Fira and back (there are no routes by bus between them) so we were happy to be centrally located.

Liked: the fact that it's family-run makes for an amazingly warm environment where you feel comfortable and makes it almost fee like home. also incredibly clean and new. oh, and you'll have the cutest breakfast poolside for only 5euro!
