Liked: Great staff, a 10 minute walk into town, the hotel is not on the caldera/cliffs with views but its value for money in santorini! Nice pool and the rooms are cute.

Liked: Pool area, fairly close to the main area in Thira, air conditioning

Disliked: Put in an area of the hotel/room which was not what we expected. Staff were not pverly friendly. Rest of the hotel was booked out for a wedding so we felt like we were intruding.

Liked: The very friendly family who run the property. Nothing is too much trouble for them. A lovely sparkling clean pool and an abundance of clean towels.Great breakfast with a decent pot of tea. Less than 10 minutes slow walk to the town centre. Close to the quad bike hires. Suites all age groups.

Liked: We had a fabulous stay at Rena Villas. The room was basic yet comfortable and really clean. The decor was fairly netural, the paint was relatively fresh and the bed was comfortable. It delivered on everything the photos/information on the website promised. The pool area was really lovely. The pool was filled, really clean and a good size. The staff were amazing. They were very welcoming and provided useful information about what to on the island. They offered the opportunity to book motorbikes and tours for us, but were not pushy about this at all. The staff at the hotel also dropped us at the port (about 20min drive) for free. They even looked up the ferry timetable on the internet to check if it was running on time to make sure they didn't drop us at the port too early.The hotel location had pros and cons. The con was that it was located about 10-15min walk from the heart of the town - so it wasn't quite amongst the action and did not have caldera views. The pro was that it was really quiet, the walk to/from the town was not too long and really safe. Breakfast wasn't great or very large, but it was included in our room rate - so no great loss.Overall the hotel was clean, comfortable, safe, charming and great value for money. Rated: 5/5 for basic hotel accomodation.

Liked: Nice hotel with clean pool and nice facilities. This hotel was perfect for what I needed. I could park my car at night and walk to town. The staff was very helpful (they gave me a detailed map of the island - difficult to find - and were always very friendly and attentive).

Liked: It is a fantastic place to stay with an excellent pool area that is hard to find in Fira without spending a lot of money. The staff were really friendly and went out of their way to help.

Liked: This hotel is absolutely beautiful, ocean view and a great swimming pool. A very hearty breakfast is included. Rooms include air conditioning and tv, plus a fridge. The family that owns the hotel is super-nice and friendly! They offer a ride from the bus stop, since it is quite hard to find, but this was not advertised on the web site... we wish we had known about that service.

Liked: I enjoyed Villa Rena very much. Kalle and I never had so much fun in a villa before. Would recommend this to anyone who wants to relax and at the same time be served by great people. I will definately come back again.

Liked: This is a very quiet location and I slept very well. It is a short, pleasant walk into the downtown part of Fira. The hotel is very clean, pleasant, and well kept. This family run hotel works hard to provide customized service. They even picked us up at 1:00 a.m. at the port from our ferry boat ride.

Liked: I stayed here with 40 of my guest for my wedding in June. The rooms were immaculately clean, bed line, towels etc changed daily & maid service daily. Panos, the hotel owner could not do enough for me & my group. The hotel is in a quite location & does not have a bar which opens late - this was fine for me & my guests. I would say this hotel would suit couples & families.

Liked: Really beautiful hostel, traditional style with terraces for every room. swimming in clean pool. Very friendly staff and helpful. relaxed atmosphere and quiet. we all highly recommend this hostel. we didnt see anywhere else as good for the money. Thanks!
