Disliked: showers made water go everywhere, wifi didn't work in our room, had to stay first night in adjoining building then move (although first night room was really nice)

Liked: location! - suggestions from owners on places to see, restaurants, transport. Bright clean room, lift to and from ferry, balcony, swimming pool, sun loungers, internet. owners could not do more for you. Suggestion - use the quad bikes if you want to visit a few places in one day- the buses are only frequent to main sights and you can end up spending lots of time waiting at bus stops - and make sure you go with the righht person :)

Disliked: nothing really -breakfast would have been nice, but given everything on offer - its a very small complaint.

Liked: the locations was perfect! Close to everything. Rooms were nice and clean and roomy. The couple were really nice and helpfull and made the stay really enjoyable! Even bought us up a few glasses of wine when we had a night in! Would definetly stay here again. One of my fav places I stayed at on my Euro trip!!

Liked: Clean, safe, beautiful pool and terrace area, wonderful hosts - Dina and George are very helpful and the free transport shuttle to/from port is priceless if you've never been to Santorini.

Disliked: Can be a little loud at times, but it does tend to cater to students and young people so this is par for the course. Beds are a little stiff.

Liked: This place was awesome, it has the quality of an expensive hotel but we only paid 15 euros per night. There's a pool with comfortable chairs/couches to lounge on in the sun or shade and you get a private balcony w/ table and chairs..i would describe it as pretty and relaxing. You also have a view of the water from the top deck, and it's literally in the center of Fira so the location is perfect. Best part is the staff though--the owner gave us free wine and free rides to and from the port/airport, they gave us a map and told us about all the major things to do in Santorini, and they were always available to help out. I would definitely recommend this place.

Liked: George is an absolute wealth of information - I tried all of the places and sights he recommended and had an absolutely fabulous time. The free pickup and drop off at the ferry is also excellent! On a 70 day tour of Europe I think this was one of the best places I stayed in.

Liked: This hotel was excellent; clean, welcoming, well-located and George and Dina were beyond wonderful. They were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to be helpful. This was by far our favorite lodging in Greece and I would go back in a heartbeat!

Liked: It was great, clean and perfectly located in the center but still on a peaceful street. Communal kitchen was a big plus, had everything you might need for cooking and even more. We cooked all meals there and saved money for traveling. The owner is so friendly, kind and genuine, does his best for clients; makes the whole stay relaxing and comfortable..

Liked: This was a fantastic place to stay. The owner George was amazing and willing to help in any way possible. He picked my friends and I up at the port just as our ferry came in. He had some great suggestions for activities and restaurants in Santorini. It couldn't have been a better experience, especially for the price. You should definitely stay here.

Liked: People at Dina's Place and San Giorgio Villas are simply amazing. George made us feel very welcome and gave us useful tips to make use of our short time in the island well. The hostel is near the shopping district of Fira and very accessible to the bus station / vehicle rentals. A nice view of the Caldera is just a 3 minute walk away. Our room was cleaned everyday and I love the fact that the staff could be just as helpful and unobtrusive if you are looking for privacy. Would recommend this place to friends and family. No need to break the bank to find a good and warm place to stay in Fira!

Liked: We did not spend a lot of time in our room, but it was the perfect location. The staff was extremely helpful. Someone was there waiting at the port for us when we got there and they dropped us off at the airport at the end of our stay. It was the perfect location, especially if you want to be within a short walk from the bars!

Liked: While traveling in Greece, I stayed in seven hotels and Dina's Place was by far my best find! The owner of the hotel came to pick up me and my friends at the port. When we arrived at the hotel, we were each offered a glass of local wine and the person at the reception explained what to do in Santorini, offered to book any excursions that we might like to take, and also suggested where we could eat well and affordably. (We went to three of the restaurants that he suggested and all of them were excellent.) When I asked where a nearby internet cafe was, the receptionist quickly asked me if I had a laptop. When I said that I didn't, he literally handed his laptop over the counter and said that I could use the internet on his! In terms of our room, it was nicely decorated, spacious, and very clean. There was also a cute (and clean) little swimming pool just outside of our room. Furthermore, the hotel was very well-situated and was a quick walk from the bus and taxi stations, as well as all the shops and restaurants in Fira. (Fira is a great starting point from which to do excursions in Santorini.) Finally, when the owner of the hotel received something belonging to my boyfriend after we had checked out, he drove all the way down to the port just to deliver it to us! For fifteen euros per person per night, you can't do much better than that!

Liked: Honestly, I had nothing short of an excellent experience with Dina's Place. The location could not have been better, our room was amazing (especially for the price), our room was cleaned and the linens changed every day, and George was the friendliest and most accomodating hostel owner I have met (if you can even call it a hostel...hotel or villa seem more suiting). I would stay at Dina's Place again and again, and also recommend it to anyone traveling to Santorini. I cannot say enough about it - hands down, the best hostel I have ever stayed at.
