Liked: All the friendly atmosphere, an excellent location just a few blocks from the beach and in front of the best bar ever!

Disliked: Cleaner bathrooms and showers.

Liked: Actually somehow we were not accomodated in the Youth Hostel but close to it in Villa Mihalis. It had a swimming pool at the house which could be used. Very good place for the same price.

Disliked: The only thing was that they could not provide free transport back to the port and they even gave wrong information about the local bus schedules. 8 of us was waiting for the bus on Saturday but actually it does not transport on weekends, so we had to get a taxi quickly.

Liked: The price is the best part, its really pretty basic, and the bar across the road keeps you awake until pretty late as the rooms are about 8m from it but for €7 its hard to complain

Disliked: the noise from the bar. no breakfast

Liked: the staff were very helpful with any assistance required. The location was very good for what you pay... less then 5 minute walk from the beach. Overall you get a good deal for where you are

Liked: this place is definitely value for money!! the staff are very friendly and helpful. you can book ferries, tours and hire scooters etc from reception. they also pick u up from the port free of charge! wifi is also free. all dorms have safe lockers. location is close to perissa beach, about 10 min walk, but its quite far from fira and oia city centres although there are buses every half hour.

Disliked: the bathroom smelt funky.

Liked: Atmosphere and proximity to all your travel needs (groceries, pub, restaurants, rentals, etc.). Great location for exploring the island and port pick up and drop off was available.

Disliked: Traffic noise. Was still able to fall asleep.

Liked: The Villa Mihalis suites were beautiful & a great deal. The pool was an unexpected treat.

Disliked: The showers and bathrooms in the dormitory left something to be desired.

Liked: Ride from port, lockers were big, very cheap given location.

Disliked: Well the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting (clumps of hair, urine smell, visible dirt and grime ). Furthermore, my friend got bed bugs. Is that enough to convince you not to stay here?

Liked: great place to stay in Santorini if you want to sleep you should pay the extra 2 euro and have the top floor with the private rooms. its a great place to sit and have a drink at night and meet friendly travelers and then take a quick stroll to the beach during the day. ideal location and very helpful and friendly staff

Liked: We stayed in one of the private twin doubles and were happy with the facilities - in-room shower was hot and room was clean with good AC.

Disliked: Only complaint was that we found cockroaches in our room on both nights that we stayed there so beware! Also perissa beach is a bit far from town and buses aren't as regular as posted, I would recommend renting a car.

Liked: This was a great place to meet people as everyone would sit around on the patio and hang out. The beach is really close, and its a short walk to the only bar in Perissa. There's a supermarket close by and two 24 hour bakeries to ensure you have pastries at 4am, should you need them:)

Liked: I found this to be an excellent place to stay. The accomadation was excellent and cheap. The double rooms are in a separate building away from the main hostel. The pool is a nice bonus. The cliff top towns are not within walking distance but one of the better beaches is. I would stay here again.

Liked: The property was in a good location near the beach in central Perissa. It is very very noisy though so don't stay here if you want to sleep, also the bathrooms while clean smell a bit manky because they are underground, and the pressure / temperature of the showers seems to have little to do with how you turn the taps. Good place to meet people though and 10% discount at the taverna across the road.

Liked: The rooms were decent enough and the location is good-- close to Perissa Beach, but a bus ride to Fira and on the other side of the island from Oia. Staff are only there during certain hours, so if you have a problem when they are not there, you're out of luck. The patio is pretty cool-- if you get a room right by the front, you will hear the parties going on outside...but really, it will just be a reminder for you to go out and join them!

Liked: really good prices. friendly staff. only thing was there was no kitchen facilities, which made it more expensive for a backpacker (eating wise). though, the cheap price made up for it.
