Liked: Spacious and comfortable room with kitchenette and balcony. Very quiet at the far end of the town but only 10 minutes walk to the centre, 2 minutes walk to a nice beach and restaurants. Free port pick-up and friendly staff although they're not there very often, it's like a block of apartments rather than a hotel which suited us fine.

Disliked: Mosquitos but they're hard to avoid in Greece!

Liked: Great location, right by the beach. Ac in the room was great as well. The dorm room was spacious and having a mini kitchen was great for making tea and coffee. I'm sure you could cook as well.

Disliked: During my 3 nights there, i don't think the bathroom was cleaned. The trash was emptied but I think that was it.

Liked: Lovely family - picked us up from the port and dropped us off (in two lots), let us store our luggage, let us borrow things. Spacious room, free internet which was great, very very clean - only problem was the air conditioner was in one room of the apartment and the second room got very hot (if we left it on the first room was freezing) - they could do with a fan (even just a standing one) in the second room. Really close to the beach and lots of cute beachside cafes and restaurants.

Liked: It was extrememly clean and really nice for the money. I liked the located; it's only about a 10 minute walk along the beaches to town.

Disliked: I didn't get picked up at the dock. They had emailed saying they would be there, but I waited and never saw them. They did pick up other people, so I think I just didn't see them soon enough and they left. It would have been nice if they would have had my name on a list or something or texted as I had sent my mobile number. Having said that, there are a million people there with signs trying to get business. It is chaotic there at the dock when boats come in.

Liked: Really clean, they pick you up at the port and then drive you there too, nice tidy room, tv, air conditioning. balcony. The thing I didnt like is that they charge you for cooking appliances, there-s absolutely NOTHING in the kitchen

Liked: I forgot to let them know when my ferry was coming so I called them when I got in and they came and got me anyway. The rooms are really nice with A/C but the pillows are hard and lumpy. But I would stay again.

Liked: Very clean and nice facilities for the money. Towels provided are the size of a bath mat though. Free internet was a major plus and it was near Livadia beach, so quiet at night. They pick you up from the port if needed. I would definitely recommend this place. Good value.

Liked: Very friendly owner. Very good location as well and extremely easy to find. Internet for free. As usual no shower curtain. And to get kitchen tools in the dormitory, you need to pay 3 more euros a day... But apart from that, great place!!

Liked: The property was very basic, was still early season so there wasn't really anyone around. The owner picked us up and was very friendly and helpfully pointed everything out to us but we never saw him or any other staff member again after that. On the plus its close to the beach, retaurants and port.

Liked: Great place to stay. Location is perfect and the rooms are modern and well kept. Transport from the port was arranged with minimal effort. No complaints

Liked: This place was fantastic. The owners were so lovely, the room was always clean and sheets and towels were changed every day. The free internet was fantastic. Also in the dorms there are great lockers and you each have a key to the room. The room is equiped with a fridge and a stove top. The location is great, only a short walk to the beach and 10 minutes to the port and centre of town. I would definitely reccomend this place.

Liked: We booked a double room and were given a huge room with a double bed and another single. Very pleased about this. The cooking facilities were offered at an extra 5euro on top of the price of the room and the shower was prone to flooding the bathroom but apart from that a great place!

Liked: Nothing. To secluded from the town. The fridge smelled of mould and there were no kitchen utilities. And it reminded of a dorm with so many young loud party people staying there and we never once saw the owner at the place besides when we called him upon arrival at the port to ask him to collect us

Liked: Nice place to stay at. We stayed at Ampeli 2 which is a little while away from Ampeli 1 which has the internet etc. It's an excellent location none the less and very close to the beach. Would recommend it. Also Amepli 2 is around the corner from an outdoor cinema which is great.

Liked: Good price for what you get and very clean! Just note there are 2 sites: Ampeli 2 is slightly more out of the way than Ampeli 1. Ask for Ampeli 1 when you book as this is the place thats described on the website!
