Liked: The stay at Pension Sofi was great! The rooms are really nicely decorated and have everything we needed.The owners were friendly and helped us out whenever they could. Besides, they always offered cheese, wine or coffee at the reception in order to make us feel welcome. All in all: Very good value for money!

Disliked: There actually nothing that bothered me. Merely the walk to the closest beach takes 20 minutes, but that's still acceptable in my opinion.

Liked: Great hosts, one of the best places we've stayed. Came recommended from friends and now I know why! Family run, very friendly and they will do everything to help you.

Liked: Friendly very helpful staff everything was no problem, picked us up from the port and met us at the port with our bags when we were leaving. Welcome drinks & cake on arrival. Brought us fruit from their garden, coffee in the morning, wine and olives on one afternoon.

Liked: It is a good option for budget travelers and we had a kitchenette in our room which was nice.

Disliked: I imagine this place would be nicer in the summer when the town is livelier, weather is nicer. The hotel felt like it wasn't fully running, although the staff was nice. Although it is walking distance to the water this is not near a beach so you would need a car to explore naxos.

Liked: It is impossible to say enough good things about the owners of this pension! From the very beginning when they picked us up from the port, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They provided delicious local wine and food upon our arrival, all from their own farm! These owners genuinely care about their guests and made us feel at home immediately. We would definitely return!

Disliked: The beach advertised as being close by was not a swimming beach but it was not difficult to walk to one.

Liked: The rooms have been thoughtfully decorated and the private balconies are pleasant to relax on in the evening. It's not far from the old town and is close to several supermarkets for self-catering needs.

Disliked: If pushed to say something negative I would have to say the carpark somewhat ruins the view from the balcony.

Liked: This place was wonderful! The owners were so nice and insisted we have a glass of wine and a salad when we arrived. The room was very clean. They were so helpful to recommend places to go in Naxos and made sure we had everything we needed. Free pick up and drop off at the port was great at well.

Liked: This is the best place I have ever stayed in Europe. The family that owns it really makes your stay beyond phenomenal and they are really kind and accommodating people. They fed us their families home made wine, olives, cheese, etc when we checked in and we were continuously offered their food and wine the whole time we were there. We had a lovely room with a nice (big) bathroom & small kitchen, a terrace/patio. The building itself is wonderful (beautiful flowers!) and very close walking distance to the port and the main town. I would call this place more of a bed and breakfast than a hostel and you REALLY can't beat the value for the money -- I would only stay at this hostel in Naxos again!

Liked: This is the seond time we have stayed at Pension Sofi. We stayed here 3 years ago when we got married in Naxos. Panos and his family couldn't do enough for us, it was their warm and generosity that drew us back. We can't recommend Pension Sofi enough. Panos made his home made wine, cheese, cucumbers and olives grown on his farm readily available. Anyone visiting Naxos couldn't want to stay in a more relaxed and wecoming place. Thanks Panos, Rena and Theodoros. We'll be back

Liked: The owners of this hotel went to great length to make us feel at home - we got lovely homemade cake on arrival, and free transfers from the port. The room was spacious and very clean. Although there are lots of good dining options in Naxos town, we enjoyed having kitchen facilities available. We would definitely stay here again.

Liked: This is such a gorgeous place to stay and the staff are soo hospitable. Upon picking us up from the port we arrived at the accomodation to a drink and dessert- delicious. Such an adorable place to stay in and close to everything.

Liked: The owners and their family members were very warm and hospitable. One of our group members had traveled extensively around the world and he felt that Pension Sofi was one of the best, if not the best, accommodation he had experienced so far. If I am ever able to return to Naxos, I would only stay at Pension Sofi. It is a very short walk into town and after enjoying the island cuisine and wine, the walk is good for everyone! If you should choose to rent a car or ATV, many rental facilities are very close by.

Liked: The owners of the hostel were very friendly. Close to town and the arch to watch sunset. The owners gave us Greek salad and wine on arrival and made us Frappe and greek coffee in the morning.Some cancelled ferries meant that the room we booked was not available on the first night so had to stay in another accommodation down the road.
