 Good location, walking distance from square and all the tevernas at the harbour. Owner George very helpful and friendly, offered a complimentary bottle of wine. Received some excellent cucombers from his mother! Affordable and good choice of stay in Naxos. Not great view from appartment, however.

I had a lovely few days here! The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk to the town square, 10mins to the beach & a little shop with groceries just a moments walk away. The room was really clean and the facilities good with the added bonus of a balcony to sit out on. George was really helpful and picked me up and took me back to the port for my ferry for no extra cost and the bottle of wine on arrival is such a lovely touch. I travelled alone and always felt so safe - Naxos is a lovely island I cant wait to return!

Great distance from beach and town centre. Very spaceous in the rooms. One thing there was no place for everyone to get together, travelling by myself so it would have been nice to be able to have an area to meet people.

George was a nice bloke. The hostel was clean, although a little noisy at night. The place is all tiled so if someone goes to the toilet or moves a chair on the floor above you hear it! That said the beach is close as is the main square. The port is about 5 minutes away without a pack on your back.

The owner, George is very nice, and the towel and bed sheet are clean. Also, I like the balcony of the room, it's very nice~

I liked that we were picked up from the port when we arrived and driven back to the port when we left.

The owner is very nice. He drove me around the city when I arrived and told me where to buy stuff, the location of the center of the town and the beach.

i would definately recommended staying at windmill to everyone thinking about it, its cheap and clean plus the kitchenette is very handy. on top of that george gives u a bottle of red when u arrive!

We felt like at home there. The kichenette was a great thing. It was equipped with all the necessary staff: hot plate, fridge, pots, mugs, plates etc. The room was cleaned every day... George and his Mama were really friendly! The welcome wine was delightful. We'll come back there for sure!

Owner George is fantastic. He picked us up and dropped us off and gave us a bottle of wine and was very sweet. Our room was huge and had a big balcony, was close to everything.

George, the owner was very friendly & helpful, & transfers to & from the port were included in the price. A nice touch was the bottle of wine which George presented me with on arrival. The room was comfortable with a small balcony leading off it. There was an electric hotplate in the room, which was very convenient for making a hot drink. Even though it's a bit out of the centre of Naxos, it was only a short walk to the port area, as well as to Ayios Yeoryios beach. I would recommend this hostel for those wanting comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price, but next time I would ask for a room on the top floor, as the noise from the rooms above can be annoying. I guess this is the problem with hard surfaced flooring.

The price- excellent value for money. We had a bedroom, bathroom and separate kitchen/diner. The apartments are located really close to a nice beach and within a 10 minute walk of the port.
The owner is really friendly, picks you up from the port and gives you a free bottle of wine on arrival and if you go down to the Heavens bar they'll open it for you no questions asked!
