The owner Sofia lurks around but helps you before you even realise what you want. She is on top of everything and is very attentive and helpful. The hill up to the place is painful, but the pool is worth the walk. George at the bar makes a mean frappe and ham and cheese toastie - especially for the girls. Highly recommended!

Great pool and bar area!!! However, you have to trek up a hill in order to get into town and expect to rent some sort of vehicle while in Mykonos in order to get to the beaches.

It was great being picked up and dropped off at the port. We called ahead and they were there on time. The rooms were lovely and air conditioned. The pool was fantastic. We had a wonderful time.
(I don't know if hostelbookers was promoted at the hostel.)

beautiful view out of the house,clean room,really nice staffs, cute pool and bar
they pick you up from the sea port and bring you back when you leave.
They even clean our mess in the room when we were wondering around in the town.
(our clothes were like everywhere in the room)
They are so friendly. nice price. I will come back this place!
also, their location is easy to go to other beaches by car or motorcycles
I really enjoyed being at their place.

The staff was really friendly- George, the pool bartender was so cool to talk to, and he gave us great advice on what to do and which bars/clubs to check out while we were there.
The rooms were really clean! Big suites with a full kitchenette were awesome (although not completely equipped- no frying pan in ours for example)! The bathroom was clean and the water pressure and heat were really good.
The pool was really clean and nice, with gorgeous wooden lounge chairs and tables- perfect for enjoying a nice drink! The pool looks gorgeous at dusk/sunset time, too- like out of a movie!
All in all, I would definitely come back here!! The only slight downside is that it is a good 15 minute hike on a steep uphill to get back to Sofia Village from Mykonos town. Fine on a cool day, but a bit of a pain on a hot day!

The owner Sofia, her son Peter & the great barmen George were very friendly & would always help if needed. Also the pool/room/view was perfect! I am returning to Greece & will definately stay at Sophia Villiage again :)

Awesome building, great view, pool, pool bar! We were too early for pool to be open though. But very clean and would have been amazing to swim in.

The location - very far up a steep hill - at first seemed daunting, but it was the perfect opportunity to actually go into the parts of Mykonos that aren't so touristy, which we couldn't have done had we stayed in a hostel directly in town.
The kitchen that came with it was very nice as well, as we most often just prepared dinner for ourselves, thereby saving a lot of money.

Sofia was a sweetheart and I will be staying there on my next visit to Mykonos, oh and George now makes one heck of a jagerbomb at the poolside bar, check it out.
