Liked: Relaxed atmosphere, beautiful garden and helpful staff (Especially the owner Petros and his son). The location is perfect with a one minute walk to the busses that take you around the island. We got some good recommendations for restaurants.

Disliked: The breakfast was a little boring, but that goes for all of Greece. We ended up buying what we liked at the supermarket and the bakery just down the street, and Petros borrowed us a couple of spoons and a knife - no problem.

Liked: breakfast was ok

Disliked: I don't like rats as "pets". She came down the tree on the table, ran across the terrace and into my room, I chased her outside and helped her to escape into the garden. Very warm in the night. Cleanliness average.

Liked: Friendly and helpful owner, breakfast in the beautiful courtyard every morning, quiet but still close to all the attractions, lots of character. We booked for two nights through HostelBookers, and when we decided to stay three more nights, the owner gave us the reduced HostelBookers rate.

Liked: Mr. Petro, the owner, was most helpful and charming. We arrived at 2200 by ferryboat and he met us at the dock and drove us to the Hotel - which was only a few hundred meters, but could have been a bit tricky to find in the dark. Mr Petros, a Milos native, can cheerfully assist in almost any manner, or point you in the right direction. The Hotel location is only a few minute walk from the harbor front, eating, shopping, services, bus stop and beaches. Our room was nicely appointed, comfortable and sparkingly clean. Flat screen TV, telephone and wifi in room. The outside plaza is arbor covered, cool and quiet. Moto bike and car rentals are numerous and nearby (no bicycle rentals, however). For tourists outside of EU, you'll need an International Drivers Permit to rent, which we did not have :( Fortunately, we are strong walkers, and enjoyed hiking to and around Plaka one day and Sarakiniko another. New, clean buses and taxis can also take you there. Definately do a full-day sailing excursion (we took J&J Yachting, very nice, and there are others), or sea kayak tour, available at the harbor front. Considering all, we got a fantastic value through HostleBookers! Highly recommended!!

Disliked: Not a dislike, more of a "head's up": the shower is literally a part of the bathroom. If you don't take care with the handheld showerhead, you could get everything quite wet in very short order. But it's well enough if you take care. Fortunately, we are both sailors and know how to take "Sea Showers", so it was not much of a bother :)

Liked: The owner and the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We were given a map of the island when we arrived and a long list of things we should do whilst we were there! Our room was lovely, very big with a private balcony. It was also kept very clean and we were given fresh towels every day of our stay. The breakfast was good value and served in a lovely shaded area.

Liked: Very friendly staff! Nice rooms, close to main port and bus station to rest of island! If you eat breakfast at about 9h30, you will see the old lady feeding her goldfish in the pond on the terrace every day...

Liked: The staff at Semiramis Hotel are very friendly and helpful. Petros recommended good beaches on that side of the islands to visit during the day. It is very close to the Port and there are buses to get you around the area but you need to hire a car/bike to get to the other side. Pleny of places to eat in Adamas.

Liked: This hostel was amazing! We got a room all to ourselves and it even came with fridge, balcony, and little kitchenette. The owner was SO friendly and generous and helpful, and we had a great time. However, probably not a place to go if you want to meet people, party, etc...but then again, Milos in general is not the best island for that--you'd be better off in Santorini or Mykonos.

Liked: It was cheap, but that's because there was a "special deal" on it for 12 euros per person in a double. Also, the location is pretty good as it isn't too far from the port.
