About The Windmill Rooms

We are a family run business with traditional Greek hospitality and a very relaxing atmosphere.

All our rooms have air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, TV and a table top fridge.

The accommodation is located in Chora Village, a prime location, very close to all the clubs, bars and restaurants and only a 10 minute walk to the local beach Mylopotas.

We look forward to your arrival and hope you enjoy the many delights of Ios Island.

Our rooms are designed for two people however If you wish to book a room for three people we can place an extra bed inside the room and accommodate an extra party. Please email us for more details.

Quality, cleanliness and hospitality are our trademarks. All our rooms are en-suites with air conditioning, satellite television and your own table top fridge. We also have several double bedrooms. Recently refurbished, our rooms are now not only brand spanking new but have an electronic card system saving you time and energy!


Services

Tired and jet lagged after a long journey? We can escort you from the bus station to help shift some weight off those weary shoulders! If you ever need anything please feel free to ask us at reception as we are always up for a friendly chat.

If coming by car or motorcycle we have communal parking available at the back of our rooms.

Location Information

Ios is a very beautiful and picturesque island with excellent sandy beaches and hundreds of chapels. Its pretty Hora (capital), is a dazzling mix of white washed houses and blue domed churches.

The Windmills rooms are situated beside a row of windmills which top the town, one mile from Mylopotas beach.

NIGHTLIFE
Ios has a vast range of activities and endless locations to visit. If you like to party hard you have come to the right place. Reputable for its fantastic night life you have never partied until you've visited Ios! When the sun falls the island transforms into a party haven with endless bars and clubs to go to.

BEACHES
The local beach mylopotas has a vast range of waterports including windsurfing and the legendary banana boat! The island also offers a great range of archaic and fasinating sites such as Homers Tomb and has recently made some ancient archeoligcal findings.
