 Markos village was fantastic! Its in a great location in teh village next to the bus stop in the village and the rooms are great! In my dorm i had an ansuite, air conditioning and a TV!! Plus there was a pool to meet ppl and free internet. The owners are great and the owners even let me stay past checkout as my ferry to Athens was at night!

Wowwee!! The absolute best Hotel experience during our 10 week stay in Europe thus far. The staff was incredibly accommodating! Yorgos (the owner) was flexible with room adjustments, hospitable and party encourageable. He made it as comfortable an atmosphere as possible. Yanni (the bartender) had so much energy and made great cocktails Happy Hour or not. Then he made sure to invite us and the whole crew of travellers to a bar he manages in the downtown nightlife which is just a 5 minute walk. Markos Village has a great view of the town and the best pool in Greece. Soak it up. See you next season guys!

Everything, from the night security guard to the bartenders, everyone is willing to go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay on Ios. The owner George is the best guy i've possibly met in the world. After getting hit by a car on the main street of Ios he went with me to the Police station and acted as a translator for me without even having to ask the guy. Also, the rooms are super nice, great atmosphere, pool with a bar right next to it..... what else could you ask for. Just be warry of talking the 14hr fairy ride and missing george waiting for you at the port and having to walk to the hostel yourself. If you want to stay in a comfortable place with extremely friendly people Markos hotel is the place for you.

Well located for the nightlife of Ios - but don't expect to get much sleep! George and his wife are very helpful, providing transport to and from the port, and are very accomodating to changed in itineraries. Free internet and great little bar and pool area - cheap eats which were reallly delicious!

This hostel was amazing. It was a clean and super friendly environment. There is a beautiful pool that overlooks the Island and the bar downstairs is a great place to start the night. The staff was amazing and was able to help us with whatever we needed. Definetely the best hostel I have ever stayed at. It was also very safe to walk around and I never felt scared or unsafe.

The owner, George, is the most hospitable ownerr you will ever find. He is always making sure that everyone is enjoying their stay. Had a great time and ended up staying longer then i planned to. It is only a few hundred metres from all the nightlife and the bar and pool at the hostel is a lot of fun in the afternoon and early evening before you head out.

everything. Ios is clearly a very nice place, but Marko s village makes it heaven. Litteraly. The staff is more than awesome, the location is perfect, right in between the beach and the clubs. My friend and i are were amazed by how safe it was (for our possessions and also for ourselves). I adored this place full of nice and awesome people, staff and backpackers. LOVED IT!

Everything! The location is perfect, close to everything. The staff are unbelievable. They were so friendly, helpful, they showed us the best times of our lives. The bar at the hostel offered happy hour every day, which was a great way to meet new people. The beach was only a few minute bus ride away and was amazing. Very close to bars, great restaurants, shopping, everything. I would recomend this hotel to anyone!

The staff is great!! The bar and pool area are perfect for mingling with other party goers at night while drinking before going into town to hit up the real party scene. The hostel is very flexible with things and very accommodating.

The staff here are unbelievable. They made us feel safe and at home. They also had a lot of recommendations for fun things to do and see! I loved it here and I can't wait to come back and see the crew!

The staff were really awesome and helpfull. It was two minutes from the bars, which was pretty handy. There was free internet and a welcome shot, so it was all real good.

The place is really close to the 'village' on Ios, which is extremely convenient for going out at night. The rooms are spacious, clean, and at a very reasonable price. The staff are very helpful and will make sure you have an enjoyable time there.

Staff extremely friendly and provide terrific service - no fuss. Great bar and happy hour, not one quiet night! Very central location to main night spots and public transport. Will definitely come again.

The staff is extremely friendly, its in an excellent location and it has a beautiful view of the village. Another thing i liked was that they pick you up from the port and also drove you back when you needed to leave. Happy Hour is AWESOME!!! Thanks for such a great stay!!
