Rupicapra Villas

A complex of three fairy-tale traditional stone made villas (cottages) located in mountain rural Greece.

Two of the villas are two-storey 60 sq.meters buildings (Villa Lanassa and Villa Myrtale) while the third is one-storey (ground floor) 45 sq. meters building. All are built with the distinctive traditional style of the Zagori area. That is to say using local grey-whitish lime-stone. The roofs are covered all the same with gray slate stones. All the buildings have fireplace, independent heating, WC with shower, hot water, TV. They are recently built (2007).
Please note that: Villa Lanassa and Villa Myrtale can accommodate with the addition of extra beds four (4) persons on each floor, in total maximum eight (8) persons in each building, while Villa Iris accommodates 3 couples (3 double beds) and can accept 3 more extra beds without any problem (45 sq.m.)!

LOCATION & AREA
The place is ideal for nature lovers. Possibility of mountaineering, hiking, trekking, rafting, kayaking, bicycling, horse-riding, canoeing

In close proximity there are the famous:
a) Vikos gorge,
b) National Park of Vikos-Aoos,
c) Voidomatis river,
d) Astraka mountain hut,
e) Dragon lake (Drakolimni) at 2.000 me asl
f)Provatina verical cave (sinkhole)-one of the deepest in the world!
g)Kleithi prehistoric rock shelter,
...and much more!...

Papingo village itself is a traditional stone-made village, at 1000 m. a.s.l., located in a picturesque and breath catching landscape, as you can see in the photos!...

Villa Lanassa and Villa Myrtale are identical regarding size of the interior:
In the ground floors there are two single beds that can be joined and create a king-size double bed. In the 1st floors of the above mentioned buildings there are permanent double beds (one in each 1st floor). Extra beds (2) can be added in each floor so each floor can accommodate max 4 persons.

Each of the above mentioned villas can be rent as a whole (in a family or group of friends) since there is an inside wooden stair that connects the ground floor with the 1st floor. However, since each floor haves exterior doors can be rented also individually (each floor in different people) without any problem.

Villa Iris is a different case because it is consisted by ground floor only. Despite of it, due to its huge interior space (45-50 sq.meters), it has three permanent double beds, and more extra beds can be added without a problem (3 single beds at least!). So it can accommodate minimum one couple and maximum... 9 persons!
