Liked: Great value. Quiet and central location. Basic rooms but at least you have your privacy.

Disliked: The town has an extremely low crime rate and many people keep their front doors unlocked which might seem somewhat odd to people who don't live on this part of the island.

Liked: Close to town in quiet street

Disliked: Came here because the reviews were great. However when we arrived our room was double booked and the room that was eventually offered to us was a double mattress in the living room of the next ndoor house with a glass sliding door and no lock. As we had booked a double room with ensuite and kitchen facilities, we refused this and another (twin) room was found. the ?owner quickly 'cleaned' the room, which didn't appear to include cleaning the floors or sinks, and left us to it. Room had a bathroom with a door that wouldn't close, a kitchen with a hob and crockery but no cutlery, utensils or pots and some very dodgy wiring. TV with no cords or aerial (don't need a TV but would think it would be better to have nothing than a useless one) and the room was stifling hot - only a fan to cool it. In the evening we were offered another room, a double with airconditioning but without an ensuite or kitchen facilities and again in the next door house so just someone's spare room. We declined and only stayed the one night of two. In all fairness, the people running the place were very nice (if disorganised) and did apologise. If we had been aware of double booking (by email?) or told that the room we wanted was not available it would have given us some time to think about it. However we had just got off a ferry and a bus and were tired and really disappointed. Stay here if you want a cheap room, close to town and a short hike from the sea for cheap, but be aware that it may not be that clean, facilities may not be as advertised and they may not have the right room for you.

Liked: Very close to the centre of town, absolute bargain, private room with double bed, bathroom, fridge and cooktop for 16.50euro. Facilities themselves were quite good

Liked: Great staff who makes you feel at home. Quiet place, close to everything.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Great location, great value for money. The property has air conditioned studios with stoves and ensuite bathrooms. There is also a small courtyard with seats and an umbrella where you can relax and eat your meals if you like. The lady who owns the property can also make you a traditional Cretan breakfast at an additional charge.

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.
