Argoulias Traditional Apartments

In the Village of Jermiadon (Tzermiado), which lies in the middle of Lasithi Plateau, a place of unique natural beauty where, according to Greek Mithology, Zeus, father of the Gods, was born, at an altitude of 900 m, you can find the traditional apartments "Argoulias".

In the Village of Jermiadon (Tzermiadon), which lies in the middle of Lasithi Plateau, at an altitude of 900 m, you can find the traditional apartments "Argoulias".

This is the oldest neighborhood of the village that was restored with respect to the traditional architecture and materials compatible to the environment (stone, tiles and wood). It comprises 11 stone-built apartments, each with two rooms, a separate bathroom, cooking facilities, a lounge with a fireplace, central heating and a balcony that offers a breath taking view of Lasithi Plateau and the mountain chain Dikti.

There are also two communal living and dining rooms where our guests can come together. The location of the hostel, its construction and decoration promise a pleasant stay.

Your hosts, who have a deep knowledge and great experience of the Cretan gastronomy tradition, can also take care of your meals or provide you with local products, if wish to cook your own food in the kitchen of your apartment. The breakfast consists of local products (fresh milk, eggs, bread, Cretan hard bread "dakos", cheese, fruits, decoctions, etc) that are brought to your apartment fresh every day in a basket.

Besides relax and good food, the visitor can have other activities that include: trekking (part of E4 trail), paragliding, mountaineering and climbing.
