it was absolutely beautiful and in a perfect location in the city. also, you could wash and hang dry your clothes.

It was absolutely brilliant, i loved the place! Ivan is an absolute legend, and the whole place was just awesome.

atmosphere was nice, nice shady patio for sunny afternoons, friendly staff, only security was cctv - no lock off the street or lockers in the rooms but no problem for me and they'll take your passport and keep it for you if you like, no kitchen to cook but they'll lend you a knife

it's one of the most relaxing and chilling places i'v ever visited , what a peautiful memory am gonna have for the rest of life really..

The staff were amazing, Crete was wonderful and for the price it really really cannot be beat. Highly recommend it.

Everything: extremely friendly and helpful staff and other guests; Lots of social space and facilites; very clean and nice surroundings; very safe and convenient; a great place to meet people.

The owners are completely awesome! The atmosphere in this hostel is really good, its great to meet people! Its super clean, and is in a great location! Definately stay here if you go to Crete! Thanks for everything you guys! Cheers!

It was a great location - right in the middle of old town near all the bakeries and shops. There is a great little hang out area where everyone gathers in the early evening and talk. Great all around.

Rethymno Youth Hostel is, by far, one of the friendliset hostels I have ever been to! The owners and staff are some of the nicest folk, who sort out all the usual stuff like beds and blankets and keeping the place the clean, but they also make sure you jave a really good time, taking you to good restaurants, helping you fiond the best Raki, helping you drink it!!! They're great! The hostel building is a great Cretan house and is raelly well majntained. Most importanty I had so much fun there!!! I'll be back next year!!
