Liked: Was a really great place to stay. The staff are lovely and its a really good place to meet people. Small dorms and during my stay the staff gave each group there own room seeing as it was so quiet. Great location right in the middle of the old town. Close to shops, supermarkets, beach, cafes, etc. Definately recomend people to stay here.

Disliked: Only one little gripe. Everyone smokes inside so my things and I ended up stinking of ciggarette smoke but its Greece, everyone smokes in Greece so its hard to escape it.

Liked: I loved it's cosy setting, friendly and knowledgeable hostel managers, its rather remote enough yet conveniently accessible enough location and it's value-for-money charges. This is really a perfect hostel. :)

Disliked: I didn't dislike anything in particular - but it would be great to have more cafes or taverns nearer to the hostel. :)

Liked: Location is great, everything is near and can walk to everywhere in Rethymnon. Staff is great. Showers and washing areas are ok. You can leave your valuables to safe to hostel reception but its only open in certain hours when you can pick up your things.Overall it's good hostel especially if you are planning to stay only one night or two.

Disliked: Some of the rooms are quite bad. Maybe around 20 beds, no sheets, no pillow, nothing. But on my 2nd visit I got better room where was about 6 people and it was much more comfortable.

Liked: it's in the center of rethimno, staff is really nice and helpfull. resort is clean and confortable

Disliked: there should be pluggs in rooms, and bathroom is far from the bedroom apart from that is a great place to stay

Liked: You will adore this place.The gentleman responsible is honest and genuine.

Liked: The hostel is clean, comfortable, excellent value, pleasing to the eye, and in a great location. I was put in rooms with people with similar backgrounds, which was a lovely personal touch. But probably the best part is Ivan - he is absolutely awesome: friendly, helpful and lots of fun.

Disliked: Reception is closed between 1pm and 5pm, and it's not clear before arrival that this is the case. The cooking facilities are very basic, and only available when Reception is open. Also, the bathroom facilities are a long way away from the rooms, and there are no exhaust fans to dispel the extreme heat during summer. I was prepared to cope with these things, though, given how great the hostel is.

Liked: I love it cos it's simple, no frills, no messing about with deposits for this and that, great staff that really want you to enjoy yourself, Ivan you are a gun!!If it's your kinda thing you can also sleep on the roof under the stars. It's really chill. Location is excellent, it's in the old town and less than ten mins walk from the bus station.

Disliked: Sometime they have big school groups that come through which can be annoying, but that really isn't anything to complain about cos everyone need to turn a buck.

Disliked: My friend's towel was stolen on the property. Not a big deal, but still a bit annoying.

Liked: Fantastic location, and super friendly staff, really made us feel good when we arrived.

Disliked: Toilets and showers are to far from the bedrooms, a little bit of a mission if you need to go in the middle of the night!

Disliked: It's quite far from Heraklio (which is not a problem unless you missed the last bus and had to take the expensive taxi to Rethymno)

Liked: The hostel had a great atmosphere and the location was very central and down the road from some tasty gyros! It's a great place to meet people as well.

Disliked: Not much of a youth hostel as there were a lot of old people staying there. It wasn't very safe as only one room had a lock attached to it. And the rooms were quite cramped with beds.
