It was the best youth hostel I've ever stayed. The location in really good in the centre of the most important part of the city. The staff is so nice and helpful that if I have any chance to go to Crete I will for sure choose that hostel! :)

I really enjoyed my stay at Rethymno youth hostel, The people and the staff created a really friendly atmosphere and the facilities were fantastic. Situated right in the centre of the old town it was perfectly located for a quiet dinner or clubbing and the a short walk to the beach to sleep it off. I have reccommended this hostel to everyone i have met and will continue to do so.

Ivan, the guy running the place, was one of the nicest hosts I have met. He was always busy chatting with the people staying there and ready to help when asked.

Everything. Ivan is a legend, the atmosphere was brilliant with loads of central places to hang out and meet people. Good kitchen, clean rooms, great location, great staff. Brilliant.

It's a very nice place to stay for young and old people. It's very cheap and clean. You don't have luxus, so it is the perfect place for those, who needs only a bed und a nice atmosphere.

Es ist ein sehr schöne Unterkunft, die sowohl für junge als auch für ältere Leute gut geeignet ist. (der Anteil der jungen Leute ist allerdings schon größer). Das Hostel ist sehr günstig und sauber. Es ist die ideale Unterkunft für diejenigen, die auf Luxus verzichten können und nicht viel mehr als ein Bett zum schlafen brauchen. Die Atmosphäre war sehr schön und Ich hatte guten Kontakt zu den anderen Gästen.
Vielen Dank Ivan, Michael, Lauren, Zack, Alice,... (und natürlich der Rest der ganzen netten Leute)
Ich hatte eine richtig großartige Zeit mit euch!!!

Ivan, the manager, is absolutely fantastic. He is extremely helpful and friendly and makes the hostel a fun place to stay.

Ivan is friendly and helpful. He is funny and makes the hostel feel like home. Breakfast is cheap and there are basic facilities to cook your own food. Two communal areas so great for meeting people. In nice part of old town! Although they ask you not to drink your own alcohol there, Amstel and Mythos is available in 500mL bottles for a mere 1.50 euro - CHEAP. The only real downside is the bathrooms are outside the hostel dorms, with the showers sometimes not being really hot.
