Disliked: I haven't had any complaints about my stay at sunrock backpackers.

Liked: Beautiful sunset, beach is very close. Friendly environment and very welcoming

Disliked: My door to my doorm didnt lock, and there is no screen on the windows so lots of mosquitos. Bathrooms were disgusting and the toilet always smelled of pee.

Liked: Fantastic venue- exactly what we were looking for! Sea views, home cooked food & personal assistance from all staff. Great access to the beach, rides into town when we needed, friendly atmosphere. Would totally recommend this place, as it was recommended to me!

Disliked: Mosquitoes & wasps- clearly not Sunrock's fault! Beds were lumpy, but when you're falling asleep & waking up to the sound of waves who cares?

Liked: The location was absolutely beautiful, which a 180 degree view of the sea and a one minute walk to the beach. The breakfast and dinners were amazing. The family that runs it are really nice. I met lots of nice people there too. They also come and pick you up and drop you off when you arrive and leave. And you can get lifts into town too.

Disliked: The bathrooms are in need of a good clean. It takes a bit of time to get into town.

Liked: Cheap price. Right above the beach. Transfers to and from port/airport. Free dinner and proper cooked breakfast. The hospitality of the owners.

Disliked: The bathrooms were disgustingly dirty. The toilets didn't flush and never had toilet paper. The bedrooms were cramped and too hot. Mosquitos and bugs everywhere. No keys to your room and no lockers to put your valuables in. The sheets on the bed didn't look like they had been changed.

Liked: Place is excellent for people who want to spend more time at beach. It has beautiful view from big sun deck which is best part. But if you want place from where it is easy to go to bus station you may look for other place or just rent scouter or car. Food is excellent and totally organic. You can see where crops are grown. Big sandy beech is just in front of hostel. There are some rock formations near cost so I suggest taking snorkelling stuff with you. If you don't have any you can get it on island for reasonable price. Atmosphere in hostel was nice and other guest were really friendly.

Disliked: - It can be bit cleaner. Especially bathroom and toilets. - There is Internet connection but 3EUR for using their computer or 6EUR per day to use wifi on yours is too much. I needed Internet whole day so i got 2GB Vodafone sim card for 20EUR which was much better. You need to have your passport with you to get one but hostel is covered with 3G network.

Liked: The free breakfasts and dinners were amazing! The free shuttle bus to and from Corfu Town and the sun deck which overlooks the beach and Ionian Sea.

Disliked: There were no lockers or locks on the dorm room doors. The toilets and showers were some of the worst that I've encountered in Europe. Check In involved a lot of waiting around and there was little or no tourist information because the staff were always preoccupied with cooking.

Liked: Sunrock is a perfect Place to be in Corfu - Pelekas Beach is one of the nicest beaches round, if you love sandy ones. The Hostel is not far from the beach, the meals are ok, the staff is helpful and the rooms are ok. To sit there and watch the sun go down is absolutely great! If you want to be catched on the airport, just give them a call ... otherwise take the bus, no problem. If you want to see something of Corfu, its the best if you rent a bike on an island Great Place, with great People

Liked: The owner Magda was very friendly, helped me with everything I needed, she has a very hands-on approach and makes you feel welcome! The hostel has an amazing location and a stunning location! You get breakfast and dinner at the hostel!

Disliked: The bathroom for the dorms was disgusting!!

Liked: The hostel had a great location and was near a beautifull beach. The balcony was a fantatic place to sit, relax and enjoy a beer before heading in and enjoying the free dinner, which was simple but nice and filling. The shuttle to and from the airport/ferry was easy to organise and very helpfull

Liked: Very close to one particular beach that is not too crowded and beautiful.

Disliked: Showers and bathroom facilities are disgusting. Restaurant and common areas also disgusting. Pick-up at port was 1.5 hours late.

Liked: really nice sandbeach and terrace, short walk down to the beach, nice to drive us up to aqualand, basic breakfast and lunch included

Disliked: Mada put us in a four bedroom dorm with a couple even as we've booked a two person private ensuite. Not really cool as those misbookings seem to happen quite often. You can also have bad luck in your room when you come into one with mold on the wall. breakfast and lunch are really limited.

Liked: It was only 5 minutes away from the beach and the free dinner was amazing every night. The deck area is great for sunsets and the tab system they use makes it super easy to get a beer when you're coming from the beach without having to carry cash.

Disliked: It was hard to get to Corfu town so we ended up renting scooters so we could explore the rest of the island. The breakfast french toast could use a little work.

Liked: The included breakfast and dinners were very nice, the drinks were reasonably priced and the beach was fabulous

Disliked: The rooms were dingy and dark and smelly. No air conditioning or fans meant that sleep was pretty much impossible. There were no lockers and a pane in the window was missing, so I was constantly worried about my things.

Liked: Perfect location Beautiful building with lots of character and amazing plants. An idyllic, colourful environment for an enjoyable stay. The service was friendly - a mixture of a great family and the temp workers from all over the world. The family are obviously passionate about their business and do all they can to make you comfortable. The breakfasts were incredible - and the view from the breakfast table was even better! I would reccomend this hostel to anybody. I t is not a 5 star hotel, but it is so much better. I loved it so much that I have returned and am staying here at Sunrock for another 3 weeks.

Disliked: There is nothing to dislike! I absolutely lovede every minute of my stay.

Liked: the property was beautiful and right next to the beach! The staff were so wonderful and picked us up and dropped us off at the port even though we were late he waited for an hour for us. They have been running this hostel for 27 years and they definitely know what they are doing. Dinner and breakfast was included which was awesome and it was so nice to have a homemade meal. It was very delicious. Good place to meet people because for dinner you all get to sit down together and enjoy your meal. This hostel was amazing and for sure my favorite hostel ever! I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to go chill out on the beach and relax for a couple days.

Liked: It was a great place to relax and to meet other people. The hostel is in a very beautiful location with a great beach nearby (less than 5 min walk). The staff was very welcoming and helpful, and the free pick-up was very much appreciated.

Disliked: It is VERY isolated. When we were there the bus schedule was pretty inconsistent. Unfortunately this will be the least of your worries-- to get to the bus stop is a long, hot and sweaty hike up a very large hill. Even for people who are in good shape and who are used to walking it is a tough walk. This is not a good base to explore the rest of Corfu. The bathrooms were in pretty bad shape during our stay. The showers were dirty and there were used toothbrushes, soap and even razors lining the sink. The rooms felt a little damp and a didn't have good air circulation, but they were clean.

Liked: This place is AMAZING! A great location overlooking Pelekas beach. The food was really really great all organic/ Breakfast and dinner include! The Greek family who run the hostel are amazing! so helpful and will do anything for you! Would defiantly recommend to others!

Liked: The location is amazing and its run by a lovely Greek family who go out of their way to look after you as well as growing all their own food. AMAZING definately recomend it.
