Liked: Walter was amazing! Hostel was in a great area and close to metro. Property was clean.

Disliked: No real area to hang out and meet people, no common kitchen or living room area. I do not party but I do like to stay in hostels to meet other travelers and share about things to see and how to get there, etc. plus just making great new friends. This was more like a hotel for me because we rented a private room as I traveled with my kids.

Liked: Hostel was in Plaka, just 5 minutes from Akropolis! Amazing! Confortable rooms and clean. Staff helpfull and also they use to write some itmes information in a blackboard, like "it is independece day's today, most of places could be closed" or "today we foward 1hr the clocks". This information was very helpfull!

Disliked: The changes our reserve from the hostel to the studios, It was a better location and place but they did not ask us if we wanted to change or not. We arrived with a lot of baggages and said that we needed to go to the other building just 3 minutes from there. None companion us to there, it was midnight!! they just gave us a paper with a map drawing in it! Breakfast was very poor.

Liked: Really good location. The staff spoke English well. Happy hours at the bar. Pretty much everything you need. Price was very fair.

Liked: Great location- couldn't have been better! Very close to all the attractions and the metro station. Especially if you have limited time in Athens, do not consider somewhere else.

Disliked: can't find really.

Liked: Great place! The staff was SO HELPFUL! We honestly didn't speak a word of greek and the guy who checked us in told us how to say 'hello' 'pardon me' thank you' and 'cheers'. And on Sundays they do a tour to Posideons temple, but because it was off season they weren't doing it, but gave us the bus route and times and about how long it would take and even drew a map! Talk about going above and beyond! :D And the 5 euro tour from Walter was awesome (even though I'm a big fan of free hostel tours.)

Disliked: The fact that there were 2 seperate buildings and the breakfast and wash places were all seperate was mildly inconvenient; but whos going to complain about free breakfast and onsite laundromat?

Liked: It was really great. The location was amazing. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and it was so clean. They obviously clean it consistently, and the provided kitchenette was really nice.

Disliked: Well we got some bitchy spanish roommates for a night, but that is certainly not the hostels fault. I think the only thing I didn't like would be the bathroom set-up. There was just the one bathroom/shower for all 6 people.

Liked: The location was amazing.The 5th floor room (12) has a view of the acropolis!!! Also, it was very easy to meet people especially with happy hour at the bar every night!

Disliked: In the room there were no lockers. I would have felt safer being able to lock up some belongings such as my passport and other valuables!

Liked: The hostel is located in a great area, really easy to find from the directions given from the airport and easy to get around. The place is clean and the staff was very nice and friendly. I would definitely stay here again, it´s a great value for the price.

Disliked: The breakfast was quite simple, but not bad for the price.

Liked: clean rooms, friendly staff. Rooms are not cramped, have stove, clean bathrooms.

Disliked: No lockers inside the rooms. Staff will put it in a locker for you when you leave, but I generally prefer in-room lockers...

Liked: Great location.

Disliked: They should have another person helping at the reception since its a very popular hostel. Also internet is 1 euro per 15 minutes.

Liked: I stayed at another hostel before this in Athens, which was ranked higher on the list. I enjoyed backpackers more! Really wonderful staff.

Liked: Simple, clean, well located, very friendly staff. Overall - excellent stay.

Liked: Really helpful and friendly staff, invited us out with them for the Saturday night! Excellent place to meet other travellers and brilliant location for sights, food and transport. Would definitely return.

Disliked: Some tours weren't running, but that's because it was winter. Would love more Delphi trips to be run, we made it anyway ourselves, but reckon going with the hostel would be heaps more fun and have tons of cameraderie!

Liked: one of the best hostels i've ever stayed at. it is in a safe area of Athens. I would advise everyone to stay in this area of town (avoid Omonia!).
