Liked: Location-so close to the metro and close to the sights.

Disliked: We had an ant infestation in our bathroom and then the shower curtain didn't reach all the way to the floor leading to a bathroom flood everytime someone showered.

Liked: Very clean and in a safe location. Got our room ready for us an hour early when they saw how tired we were from an overnight ferry. Really social environment which could be good for solo travelers.

Disliked: The lock on our door was broken, but with enough slamming and trying we got the door to close. No lockers in the room. Still felt safe though

Liked: Athens backpackers was a great hostel! the second i arrived i felt secure and at home. the staff were so friendly, the sheets crips and clean and the location couldnt be better. im changing hostels tonight and they even showed me how to get to another great hostel even though its their healthy competition!

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: Location and very comfortable bedding and the self contained kitchenette.

Disliked: Size of the elevator and difficult to control the temperature of the shower. The shower head holder was also not holding the shower head properly.

Liked: Perfect location, great showers, wonderful staff, good breakfast, and just an overall great place to stay.

Disliked: I stayed in the studios and the only thing it really needed was a common room. I didn't actually dislike anything except that it's such a great place it was booked up for the extra night I wanted to stay.

Liked: Great location, friendly and helpful staff, our room was clean, big, and well priced. Atmosphere was warm and inviting.

Liked: We were upgraded from a dorm-style room to an apartment-style one. It was very clean and comfortable, and in a good location.

Disliked: Nothing; it was great.

Liked: I stayed I a 4-bed dorm, with a private bathroom (that I did not expected) and a private small kitchen with a fridge, a boiler (that I did not expected either). At this time of the year, I'd say it's good value for money, especially if you travel in groups (to occupy one room).

Disliked: Very noisy neighbourhood.

Liked: Good atmosphere, good.location, friendly staff and easy to meet people.

Disliked: Few things e.g. lights and window blinds were broken in the room. Bed wasn't particularly comfortable.

Liked: The staff were very helpful and I met some new friends.

Disliked: The stairs. I was out of shape but I was always out of breath by the third floor. And the elevator was for service use only, which is understandable, but I would have loved to use it just to take my luggage up.

Liked: Location is amazing and the staff are so friendly. Rich and Walter are really helpful and very knowledgable about anything Greek related. All staff were friendly and helpful in general - walking tour around Athens is a must, great way to gather your bearings. Loved the day trip to Delphi. I stayed on for another 2 days in the other property down the road above the sports bar and the rooms were much nicer!! Highly recommend this place to stay - it's walking distance to everything!!

Disliked: The shower in the mixed dorms in first hostel - the shower head didn't have a handle to lock into so you could shower properly. Also, need lockers in the rooms in the property above the sports bar. Disappointed that the tour to Nafplio stopped a few weeks ago, it would have been nice to take that tour.

Liked: Nice room, very close to the Akropolis, the adjoinging 'sports bar' is great

Disliked: slightly misleading tour to Delphi - 50 euros for a 'guided tour' but it turns out the guide isn't licensed and cant actually take you round the main site

Liked: The hostel is in the perfect location to explore Athens, and there is a walking tour offered by the hostel which is a great introduction to the city. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hostel.

Disliked: The bar is relatively small but this makes it cosy and a good place to meet other travellers.

Liked: situated close to the metro gives easy access to transport. The bathroom was clean and hot water always available. The mattress was very comfortable and the bed linen was spotlessly clean. The bunk beds were very sturdy. The free breakfast was ample and made the stay great value for money. The staff were freindly and helpful.

Disliked: The roads around the hostel are not lit up well at night. The lockers in the bedroom were small and in need of repair.
